Joshua White is an internationally acclaimed pianist and composer whose artistry bridges Western classical traditions and contemporary improvised music. He has been honored as a DownBeat Rising Star on keyboards in consecutive annual critics’ polls (2023 and 2024), affirming his growing influence as one of the most compelling voices in modern jazz. Known for rhythmic intensity, harmonic richness, and a fearless approach to improvisation, White’s performances consistently engage audiences and critics alike.

Born and raised in Southern California, White began piano studies at age seven, developing fluency in both Western European classical repertoire and the Black American musical traditions that would later frame his jazz sensibilities. As a young musician he absorbed influences ranging from gospel music to structured classical forms, laying a foundation for the expressive versatility that defines his work today. Early in his career he became a finalist in the prestigious Thelonious Monk International Piano Competition, an achievement that helped launch his international performing trajectory. Legendary pianist Herbie Hancock praised White’s artistry, stating, “Joshua has immense talent … I was impressed by his daring and courageous approach to improvisation on the cutting edge of innovation. White’s work as a leader reflects his deep engagement with both composition and spontaneity. In a DownBeat review of a Chicago double bill featuring Rudresh Mahanthappa and Stefon Harris, his playing was noted for its “pedaled shimmers” and “demonstrative, percussive style,” drawing comparisons to the rhythmic assertiveness of McCoy Tyner and Don Pullen. Such commentary underscores White’s physical, rhythm-forward approach to the instrument and his ability to propel ensemble momentum while maintaining harmonic depth.

White’s stylistic range has also been showcased on international stages, including the jazzahead! conference in Bremen, Germany. Performing with trumpeter and composer Steph Richards, he was described by DownBeat as part of a band that “flexes and surges,” engaging expansive avant-improvisational language while remaining deeply interactive. These performances illustrate White’s fluency across a broad spectrum of creative music, from tightly constructed forms to open, exploratory improvisation.

In addition to his performing and recording career, White is deeply committed to music education. He has served as a mentor for mentor-directed jazz combo ensembles at California State University, Northridge, guiding student musicians in ensemble cohesion, repertoire development, and improvisational practice. His educational work also includes participation in the Stanford Jazz Workshop, where he has contributed as a faculty artist within immersive learning environments that bring professional musicians into close collaboration with emerging players. After appearing at China's Inter City Music Festival in Beijing The Lost Souls Club hit 2011 running and were booked to headline a tour of Asia, sponsored by Tiger Beer. This was a sell-out tour wowing crowds across the Mekong Delta in Phnom Penh, Ho Chi Minh City & Hanoi. March saw them off to Toronto, to perform at The Canadian Music Fest 2011, and then, as a result of their performance at the One Movement Festival 2010 in Perth, they have been on the road again, touring Vietnam, Singapore and Australia from November to January this year. Montana is probably one of the last places you'd think of when it comes to a cutting-edge electronic music scene, and for good reason. With its empty plains, vast mountains, brutal winters and Old West authenticity, Montana is better suited for cattle ranching than trendy nightlife. Breaking away from the cowboy stereotype comes J. Michael Kober, a relative newcomer to the scene. Having grown frustrated with the overground, commercial Pop direction Trance was taking in 2007, he decided to dive into the world of music production. Over the course of the next few years, J. Michael familiarized himself with the technology and techniques that would eventually allow him to develop his sound: a blend of Progressive, Tech and Psy Trance with a focus on deep, dark, aggressive rhythms. 

A demo sent to JOOF Recordings in early 2010 caught the attention of John 00 Fleming, who featured it as the track of the month on his radio show and promptly signed it to his label, enlisting Magnus for the remix. The original mix was later featured on the first volume of the JOOF DJ Sessions series. Since then, J. Michael has been honing his craft and stepping up his productions. April 2011 saw his 2nd release, "Clear Form", as the debut EP on the newly formed JOOF V.2 label. Forthcoming releases include remixes of both a new Timewave single and a track from John 00 Fleming's debut artist album. 

Kober's DJ career began in 2009 with a residency on Sense.FM. "The Essential Edge" aired for over a year before he cancelled it due to creative differences. The past 10 months have shown a remarkable boom in interest for electronic music in his hometown of Billings. 
J. Michael has been very supportive in developing the local scene, working with promoters, owners and other DJ's, helping gain awareness of a style of music that's new to the area. While Electro and Dubstep are the most popular genres locally, Kober uses the different events and club nights to explore other electronic styles, including Progressive House, Breaks and Drum & Bass. 

As for the future, J. Michael Kober plans to continue learning the nuances of music production and DJing while delivering proper, serious Electronic music untainted by the mainstream.

 “We create pop music as a self-contained songwriter and producer team with a “mash it up” attitude –-- we try to blur the lines of genres while maintaining cutting edge trends in production.  Our philosophy is to start with basic guitar and vocal parts, and if the song is strong, we build it up from there.”  Writing songs in the style of, but not limited to: Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Avril Lavigne, Carrie Underwood, and leona Lewis. Endurance, isolation, healing, hope and family. Five friends, 10 years on; the world turns at a very different pace for IndianRedLopez. Recorded at infrequent and opportunistic intersections of the twists and turns of their various lives, 'Results of My Dreaming' examines their worlds through a series of snapshots encapsulating the loves, losses and lived experiences of the band over the last decade since their 2013 sophomore release Commit.

Arriving somewhere between anthemic pop, alternative rock, and experimental electronic music without fully finding a home in any specific genre. The band have continued to expand their sonic palette, whilst refining their approach to collective songwriting.

Synthetic soundscapes are pinned to a rhythmic backbone of bass and drums by powerful, yet delicate guitars. Songs like 'Firing Line' and 'So Help My Soul' hit hard and fast; there is more space to swing in numbers such as 'All Time' and 'Last Year', whilst the glitter balls and strobe lights are summoned on 'You & Me' and 'Obstacles'. Australian singer/guitarist/songwriter of new international rockers [ZERO]
Growing up in a creative family and attending catholic school, Billy's rebellious nature soon landed him in hot water. In return for not pointing out contradictions in the bible he was allowed to spend all of his mandatory religion classes in the empty school chapel playing piano. Eventually, sitting still on a piano stool began to conflict with his energetic personality, and after a brief and torrid affair with the violin and clarinet, he settled on guitar . It was the 90's and he was a teenager after all, and guitarists are way more likely to get laid than clarinettists.
Drawing on influences ranging from 50's rhythm & blues, grunge, industrial, thrash metal & garage rock, he channels the primal urges of lust, rage and loss through his guitar straight into your soft, pink brain.
Billy doesn't just play Rock n' Roll - he IS Rock n' Roll. His eccentricities - both in fashion and behavior - lend an edge to his music that sets it apart from the mundane. 
From wild dancing with Mongolian street musicians, to masquerading as a wedding photographer, he is busily carving a swathe of mischief all over Europe with guitar &amp; mic in hand.



ROMSKI grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area city of the Santa Clara known to those who grew up there as Mission City, due to the 18th century Spanish mission that serves as the center piece of the Santa Clara University campus in which ROMSKI lived down the block from.  Influenced by hip-hop at an early age, ROMSKI was captivated by the sounds of the new art form.  ROMSKI became a documentarian of his own personal experiences living in Mission City while being brought up on the eastern end of town growing up near the railroad yard, empty lots and downtown San Jose’s skyline as being part of the norm—ROMSKI was an outsider on the edge of town chronicling life and times in The Mission City.  

The artistry that is being presented is a fusion of diverse genres that speaks to the universal language of human experience.  His sound is a journey through layered textures and infectious rhythms, inviting listeners to move and reflect in equal measure.  He effortlessly blends genres, crafting unique soundscapes that are both introspective and electrifying.  His music transcends boundaries, drawing inspiration from classical compositions to create a contemporary soundscape that is both familiar and utterly unique.  A sonic tapestry woven from diverse threads, creating an eccentric and captivating soundscape.  He fuses the grit of hip-hop with the groove of funk and soul, layering it all with soul-stirring melodies and electronic textures reminiscent of classical grandeur.
