Bio- Billy “ThUmPaH ” Ferraro realized his “destined” instrument just days after receiving a toy drum on his first Christmas at the age of 9 months old. The relationship of boy and drum quickly became comparable to the one Linus Van Pelt shares with his blanket. Fast forward to 4th grade when he eagerly enrolled into the school music program and was devastated to learn that all of the drum chairs were already spoken for by his older peers. Despite finding himself in the...ahem… ”flute section” (the only boy), he stuck it out and excelled to the point where his instructor encouraged him to seek more advanced lessons because of his natural ability. Looking back it wasn’t a total loss, as it did teach him how to read music (something that would come in handy a few years later). During the “flute years” he continued to plead for drum lessons and a drum kit. As a result of his persistence, devotion and possibly to thwart the further destruction of dashboard, pot lid, mattress and ottoman “drum kits”... his parents landed him a REAL drum kit and it was on!
However, something that shouldn't be overlooked here,  is the patience and understanding exercised by all (family and neighbors) who were living in and around the family 3 tenement in South Lawrence during these "developmental" drumming years. It wasn't at all uncommon for him to spend an entire day locked in his 3rd floor bedroom at the drums. In hindsight, he can't fathom how they put up with it and knows full well that if not for their perseverance this musical journey may have ended right then and there.

 While studying with respected instructors like Jim Lattini (who lucky for him is his step-dad's cousin) and Berklee professor Bruce Gertz, he was cutting his teeth with countless local bands and musicians in many different genres. A few bands that he has performed/recorded with in no particular order are: Fortune, Sweet Roy Jones, Erick Preston's - Jimi Hendrix Experience, BarrNone, Legion of Doom, Analog Kidz, Love Stained Rhythm, The Tom Dixon Band and he has performed in former Boston Celtic forward Walter McCarty's "Save the Music Foundation" backing band. 
 
 If asked to list ONLY 10 musical influences that had the most impact from the beginning to the present, they would read something like this - Buddy Rich, Elvin Jones, Joe Morello, Vinnie Colaiuta, Dave Weckl, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Phil Collins, Neil Peart and Tommy Lee.
 
 His passion for drumming is obvious, though he contends that drum kit customization (designing/“theming”) is just as stimulating a creative outlet as playing. Since the start tinkering with his drums and hardware was something he just loved to do. In the early years this usually took place when it was past “playing hours”, so the brainstorming would typically take place from 8pm to whenever. A hobby fueled by an overactive creative streak and the inevitable indifference he finds with his drum kit's: finish/color, dimensions, timbre, configuration, portability or mounting limitations. It is also a hobby he hopes to one day parlay into at least his part time vocation….stay tuned!

Bio: Roberto Mastronardi nasce il 7 maggio 1985 e vive sin dalle sue prime ora di vita a Monopoli in Puglia. Cresce già da piccolino con la passione per la musica ascoltando per ore ed ore i dischi, cassette e più tardi cd di suo fratello e di sua sorella. Cerca allora di costruirsi uno strumento artificiale a corda usando le corde elastiche dei raccoglitori a cartellina tendendole sulla forma di una chitarra giocattolo per "suonare" mentre ascoltava i suoi gruppi preferiti. All'età di 9 anni riceve finalmente la sua prima chitarra classica in regalo e da allora si dedica completamente, tramite i corsi su riviste periodiche, all'apprendimento delle basi della musica e dello strumento a corde. Completamente autodidatta si inserisce a 14 anni in una cover band adolescenziale suonando prevalentemente grunge e nel frattempo accresce le sue conoscenze e la sua cultura musicale ascoltando vari generi appartenenti al settore di nicchia e underground. 
Iniziano nel 2007, dopo il forte fascino e richiamo per la musica elettronica, le sue prime esperienze da dj fondando con l'amico fraterno Francesco Mirizio (La Roche) il gruppo Lost Monkeyz. 
Entra, in aprile 2011, con grande entusiasmo, alle chitarre, percussioni e cori negli Io Ho Sempre Voglia (3° posto a Sanremo Giovani 2012), band di matrice Punk, che fonde tradizione, sperimentazione e accessibilità in una stimolante alternativa al solito Pop-Rock italiano. 
A Novembre 2012 fonda con Silvio Pellicano ed Onny Allegretti (già colleghi in Io Ho Sempre Voglia) gli Ouvertüre, un gruppo che prova ad essere il vero compromesso tra dj-set e musica live. 
Dal 2013 al 2017 frequenta l'accademia di musica moderna Lizard presso la sede di Pescara e consegue il diploma di 3° livello in Chitarra Elettrica Rock-Blues, studiando anche buona parte del programma didattico del 4° ed ultimo livello. Ha anche frequentato corsi di formazione sul Mix, Mastering e sintesi sonora.
Dal 2015 entra a far parte di Antilight, una noisy experience tra suoni e video attraverso Storia, Magia, Matematica, Cabala e molti altri Codici nebulosi. 
Nel 2017 ha dovuto però prendersi una lunga pausa dai progetti artistici, per motivi lavorativi prima e famigliari poi, fino agli ultimi mesi del 2024 in cui ha avuto la possibilità di riprendere.
Attualmente porta avanti il progetto Antilight, anch'esso tenuto in stand-by fino alla fine del 2024. 
Nel 2025 è prevista l'uscita del primo singolo della band e l'ultimazione del loro primo disco, sul quale il gruppo stava lavorando pria della lunga pausa.

Bio: Roberto Mastronardi was born on May 7, 1985 and has lived since his first hours of life in Monopoli in Puglia. He grew up with a passion for music from an early age, listening for hours to his brother and sister's records, cassettes and later CDs. He then tried to build an artificial string instrument using the elastic cords of folders, stretching them into the shape of a toy guitar to "play" while listening to his favorite bands. At the age of 9 he finally received his first classical guitar as a gift and since then he has dedicated himself completely, through courses in periodical magazines, to learning the basics of music and the string instrument. Completely self-taught, he joined a teenage cover band at 14, playing mainly grunge and in the meantime he increased his knowledge and musical culture by listening to various genres belonging to the niche and underground sector.
His first experiences as a DJ began in 2007, after the strong fascination and attraction for electronic music, founding the group Lost Monkeyz with his close friend Francesco Mirizio (La Roche).
In April 2011, he joined with great enthusiasm, on guitars, percussion and backing vocals, Io Ho Sempre Voglia (3rd place at Sanremo Giovani 2012), a band of Punk origin, which blends tradition, experimentation and accessibility in a stimulating alternative to the usual Italian Pop-Rock.
In November 2012, he founded Ouvertüre with Silvio Pellicano and Onny Allegretti (already colleagues in Io Ho Sempre Voglia), a group that tries to be the true compromise between DJ-set and live music.
From 2013 to 2017 he attended the Lizard modern music academy in Pescara and obtained a 3rd level diploma in Rock-Blues Electric Guitar, also studying a good part of the 4th and final level educational program. He also attended training courses on Mix, Mastering and sound synthesis.
Since 2015 he has been part of Antilight, a noisy experience between sound and visions amongst History, Magic, Maths, Qabbalah and many others nebulous Codes.
In 2017 he had to take a long break from artistic projects, first for work reasons and then for family reasons, until the last months of 2024 when he had the opportunity to resume.
He is currently carrying on the Antilight project, which has also been kept on stand-by until the end of 2024.
In 2025 the band's first single is expected to be released and their first album will be completed, on which the group was working before the long break.

Infamous for the seedy world of mobsters and original gangsters, Chicago has
birthed a breed of talented musicians in the shadows of a hustling mind frame.
Ro’Zay Richie, better known as Cap 1, is a love child of Chicago’s Southside. A mixt
of street smarts and raw artistic skills, it was not long before the young Cap 1 found
his niche in life. Growing up with a musician for a father introduced him to a world
he was easily seduced by.
Influenced by hip-hop forefathers like Run DMC and Slick Rick, he tried
his luck with free-styling. His impeccable knack for the craft quickly gained him
recognition. Making history as the first rapper signed to the legendary Motown
Records in 2000, Cap 1 was sure his time to shine was now. The Source Magazine,
a staple publication in the hip-hop community, was thrilled to document this
pivotal moment in history. His debut album, “Through The Eyes Of A Don”, blessed
him with the opportunity to work with industry heavy weights like Jazze Pha and
Twista. His sophomore album, “Theory Of Life”, was soon to follow. But when the
deal with Motown lost its momentum, Cap 1 took to what he knew best. Hustling.
Back to the drawing board, he was determined to see his career reach the heights
he envisioned.
Relocating to Atlanta, Cap 1 wasted no time getting to work. He created
quite the stir in the music scene, co-writing hits like Yung Berg’s “Sexy Can I”, and
“Lipgloss and Ponytail” featuring Bobby Valentino, showcasing an alternate side to
the hard hitting street lyricist. The industry was taking notice once again as he made
a smooth transition from a performer, to a writer. Cap 1 was in his element yet
again as he became a regular fixture around Ludacris’s label Disturbing Tha Peace,
where he became associated with Duffle Bag Boyz rapper Tity Boi (now known as 2
Chainz). The two easily developed a brotherhood of sorts as they noticed they had a
lot in common once they started working together.
Touring with 2 Chainz, and Young Money’s Drake and Nicki Minaj have
proved to be some career highlights. “Having my own slot on a national tour is a
big deal”, says a reflective Cap 1, “The torch is being passed to me.” His undeniable
talent and determination have earned him the acclamation of being the first artist
off of Def Jam signee 2 Chainz’s label as well as a management deal with Street Execs
that he describes as happening “organically”. Currently working on a new mixtape,
“Tru To It”, he looks forward to his impending success. Priding himself on his ability
to bounce back from less than ideal circumstances, he vows that this will be the
greatest come back he ever makes; as it is the year of the underdog for him. With a
buzz bubbling to overflow, Cap 1 is an artist on the rise to keep a close eye on.

It hasn’t taken long for the Birmingham five piece to established themselves as a major force on the national unsigned circuit.  With credible support slots with multi-million selling artists such as Athlete, The Datsuns and new indie darlings Viva Brother, they are causing a stir in the second city with their melodic, stadium-esque anthems.

Their debut release ‘Lifeline’ gained radio play on the local networks as well as follow up release ‘We Love You’ and kick-started an ever increasing following which gets larger with every gig.  

SOLDIER has taken full orders for their forthcoming limited edition EP and merchandise leading to a sellout.

They have also recently played Birmingham Artsfest on the large Kerrang! Stage supporting Guillemots, which was live on air and are about to film their second video for forthcoming single “Quick Fix To Sanity”.  The band is also looking forward to another support slot with Viva Brother at the forthcoming 600 capacity Birmingham HMV Forum & Proud Mary.

Having been around, on and off, for three years, the SOLDIER line up’s finally settled down as frontman Scott, guitarist Jon, drummer Ross and former Aquaplane new boys Simon on bass and Paul on guitar and vocals and, last year, got on with the job of building a live reputation, writing songs and working towards a single. Melding influences that embrace The Verve, Charlatans, Zep, Stone Roses, and, I’d venture a slab of U2, with big guitar chords, anthemic melodies and yearning vocals, they’re looking to release Lifeline and Time On My Side in June. The former’s definitely of the early U2 persuasion with blazing guitar riffs, big melody and huge chorus while the latter adopts a more reflective approach with a hint of Kings of Leon alt-country, circling guitar line, ringing solo and a gradually swelling stadium bound melody line custom built for thousand strong swayalongs. Soldier's big guitar sound is instantly reminiscent of Kings Of Leon. With big guitars, a strong beat and a melodic vocal. 'Lifeline' kicks off with a strong guitar riff, which acts like an early morning wake up call. The verse smoulders and the chorus is suitably impressive. Soldier – Lifeline ‘Lifeline’ is not subtle. It’s a direct assault on the eardrums of the hordes of festival goers and stadium audiences that inhabit out fair land (and possibly further afield too). This is anthemic stuff with a football style chant backing vocal that anyone can sing along too (even those at T in the Park who have already drunk their own bodyweight in Tennants then thrown a bottle of the waste product over their fellow audience members). Laughing Outlaw/Inertia Distribution is proud to announce the release of Sydney-sider Piers Twomey's debut album 'Strange Advice' for December 2, 2011. Piers’ baritone and falsetto vocals matched with his reflective lyrics inhabit the recording’s alternately tranquil, playful and dramatic music.

References include Grand Salvo, Sun Kil Moon, Midlake and Bon Iver, matching a clear narrative with beautiful melodies, mysterious sounds and plenty of space.

The album was produced by Tony Dupe (Saddleback, Holly Throsby, Jack Ladder) at his quiet cottage studio home in Kangaroo Valley NSW, mixed by Tony in Berlin, and mastered at Skye Mastering off the coast of Scotland by Denis Blackham (Fennesz, Talk Talk, Rachel Unthank).

Strange Advice features 12 songs in a chamber-folk, sleepy-pop, experimental vein. Instrumentally organic and intimate, it features percussive loops, found sounds, double bass, violin, pump organ, piano and chorale vocals (by four female guest vocalists) alongside Piers’ vocal and guitars.

Tony and Piers have taken great pleasure in capturing, deconstructing and reassembling the songs here. Production and instrumental arrangements support each tale as they startle and stir the senses.

Piers also currently plays guitars/keys/vocals in Grün and Quiet Titans, and previously co-founded The Fragments and Transporter. He has performed alongside: Preston School of Industry, Dappled Cities, Jack Ladder, RedSunBand, Josh Pyke, The Panics, and The Devoted Few.
