Techno Harbor - Chicago - After Party.  Could not have been possible without @compil3r and company.  The incredible DJ's continued the fun late into the night.  The amount of hospitality and hosting that our hosts from Chicago and beyond was out of this world.  Simply put, the after party hit all the right vibes.  Each DJ bringing their own touch to end a perfect event.  

I am so proud and honored to be a part of the collective of DJ's who brought an amazing event together.  I am so blessed to have met up with tons of talented friends and DJ's who all share the same passion of music together.

Here's to the first year of Techno Harbor and to hopefully, many more!

Frederik Hendrik returns to Pomme Frite with the Stoer EP — two cosmic excursions blurring house and disco. The title track struts with slick nostalgia, inspired by childhood days of “stoer” style and swagga, while B-side 'Het Verleeden' (The Past) beams shimmering synths and hypnotic rhythms straight onto the floor. Meet Frenz Cook, hailing from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Drawn to the art of DJing by the rhythmic beats of dance music from the States and the UK in the 80s, my journey began with inspiration from illicit radio broadcasts in The Hague, Leiden, and Amsterdam. Transitioning from those clandestine beginnings, I eventually hosted my own Dance program on a local radio station.

In 1992, I embarked on my first DJ gig, immersing myself in the pulsating world of dance. From packed clubs hosting 900 visitors on weekends to a decade-long stint as a resident DJ, until 2009.

My hiatus lasted until 2016, the allure of my passion proved irresistible, prompting a return in 2017.

Currently, I blend vibrant summer house vibes with a techno edge, seamlessly incorporating deep house, soulful beats, deep funk, and the chill ambiance of beach house. Join me on various streaming platforms and catch my live performances at restaurants and, come summer, at a beach club here in the Netherlands.
