We met a few years back in Madrid and instantly felt like we were family. Since then we have our annual gatherings fulfilled with sweet beats, memories and shenanigans!

Born in Bruxelles, the Scottish-Italian selector is now based in Madrid. Due to his diverse background, he absorbed influences from different cultures that have shaped, and continue to refine, his sound-palette.

He is the founder and resident of Quinoa, an immersive event concept that merges music, visual arts and interactive instalations now active in Madrid and Barcelona.

Introducing Manoliu Alexandru, a seasoned electronic music producer and DJ hailing from Targu Neamt, Romania. His sonic journey commenced back in 2012, exploring various electronic music styles before discovering his true calling in techno. Influenced by luminaries like Richie Hawtin, Ben Klock, The Martinez Brothers, and Ricardo Villalobos, Manoliu found himself immersed in the captivating world of "Rominimalistic" music, where he felt most at home as an artist. His signature style fuses techno, minimal, and house elements, all tinged with dreamy and cosmic undertones. With a penchant for experimentation, Manoliu continues to evolve as an artist. In 2021, he made his producer debut with the "Clarity" EP on Pur Records, a Bucharest-based label. This marked the beginning of a promising career that has since seen the release of the "Cloud 8" EP and singles on various artist compilations. For Manoliu Alexandru, creating art through techno music stands as one of his greatest life achievements.

"Every city has a unique soundscape, Ryuichi Sakamoto once said. Commissioned by feeder.ro, I wandered the streets of Bucharest to capture its signature sounds. Traffic-jam, footsteps, voices, the hum of little storefronts and everything in between, these binaural recordings would later become an experimental piece called "Walk slow, listen more". Much like the breathing of a strange urban beast, the piece is littered with sonic bits and rhythmic patterns. I highly recommend listening to it on your headphones alongside Pisica Pătrată's visual sketch for the Un-hidden Bucharest cultural project." - @vladcaia
