What an ultra refined sounding tune that has a ton of soul and soaring vibes to it. The synth layering is absolutely amazing, and I’m diggin’ the airy sound of some of them that creates a really awesome atmosphere within the piece. A very melodic and captivating production with a really strong vocal performance !!

Inspired by the poem "Acquainted with the Night" by the American poet Robert Frost. 

Acquainted with the Night

I have been one acquainted with the night.
I have walked out in rain—and back in rain.
I have outwalked the furthest city light.

I have looked down the saddest city lane.
I have passed by the watchman on his beat
And dropped my eyes, unwilling to explain.

I have stood still and stopped the sound of feet
When far away an interrupted cry
Came over houses from another street,

But not to call me back or say good-bye;
And further still at an unearthly height,
One luminary clock against the sky

Proclaimed the time was neither wrong nor right. 
I have been one acquainted with the night.

Glad to work with Wane of Summer once again. This is my last song for 2019 and I hope it is inspiring and hopeful as the new year comes in!

I kept thinking of a journey when I heard this wonderfully groovy instrumental.  I love how dreamy this song turned out. For me, this is about a spiritual journey with the Creator of light and dark, and following the path He has set.

Just to let you know, we've changed our project name to Passion Arcade as we felt it described us better as a couple, and it having an 80s reference in there at the same time, just as our music (hopefully!).  Thanks for listening to our music!
