BIOGRAPHY

Avi was born in Greece. In late 1987, he started his own pirate FM radio station, playing dance music regularly for a period of 2 years. When the Greek government legislated to allow private radio stations, Avi was mixing Club and House live on the popular radio program "And The Beat Goes On..." (1989-91). At the same time, he started DJing in various clubs and parties. From 1991 until 1996, during his university studies, his music style was gradually evolving to more trance and psychedelic sounds. Meanwhile, during the early days of the psychedelic/goa trance scene in Greece, Avi was to be found DJing in the occasional trance parties.

Avi's international career took off when he moved to the Netherlands in 1996. As the resident DJ of the Absurd mobile parties, exposed the Dutch---and not only---crowd to the twisted psychedelic edge of trance. He performed in venues/parties like The Trance Buddha (Amsterdam), Club Shambhala (Vienna), Alien Resonance (Liverpool), Doornroosje (The Netherlands), and for various psychedelic organizations like Asrama (Greece), Gualiro (The Netherlands), Next Time Productions (Austria), Cabbage (Leeds, UK), Octarine (Manchester, UK), Cosmic Circus (The Netherlands), and Hipnosis (Liverpool, UK).

Receiving regularly promo releases from record labels and unreleased material from artists, Avi was spinning mostly vinyl and unreleased tracks from DAT. "His subtle, smooth, but intense style combined with his sharp and twisted mixing abilities" had rumoured that he was "the best trance DJ based in the Netherlands at the moment" (1996-2000). His own productions were played by other DJs around the globe. Among his other activities, he was Chaishop's international contact for the Netherlands. He was also running Microdots internet radio station, playing psychedelic goa trance 24/7 for most of the years between 1999 and 2010 (when eventually shut down).

Currently, Avi mainly produces tracks, varying from house and trance to drum & bass and psychedelic. He occasionally DJs, playing mainly epic/dream house, trance, and goa/psytrance memorabilia together with his own wicked productions. He is always up for performing in a good party, just contact!

Somos una banda de Heavy Metal en español de origen mexicano con influencias muy variadas dentro del metal y otros géneros de la música.

Quenttin nace a finales del 2007 como un personaje de ciencia ficción para un libro que nunca se escribió pero que se materializo de manera musical.

La historia de Quenttin es como muchas otras en estos tiempos, con sus inicios por internet y músicos de diferentes partes del mundo logra tener un sonido único y mucha personalidad.

Con tres EP en el repertorio, Quenttin se a puesto en el ojo de críticos y medios a nivel nacional.
