The honour of the first release on Exploited Ghetto was earned by our Italian friend Mennie. Having earned praise for his collaborative work with Bambook, his debut solo release for Exploited Ghetto featured a tune with airy synths, a layered, catchy percussive groove and mellow early hour vibes.
Today he returns with a brand new brace of tracks, and having spent many nights working his MPC and JX to the max, he has created the awesome 'H.A.P.P.Y. EP'. So press play and enjoy the smiles for miles...

Shir Khan and the illusive Exploited crew reveal the first compilation of the cultishly adored Black Jukebox series. It includes the sunniest grooves you’ve heard this year. ’Shir Khan Presents Black Jukebox Disco Jam 01’ is a soundsystem-ready disco-house jam which tickles the subwoofers beautifully and seems purpose built for eyes-wide-shut Summer terrace play in big outdoor spaces. Black Jukebox is traversing the wide spectrum of ‘dancefloor’ music.  There’s much to excite: All four tracks are built for rooftop parties with the deep V crew.
From slo-mo housed up boogie-soul, to a loft-party future classic, to a feel-good, sun-blushed, druggy, late night electric jam, to main room filtered disco house and subbass-bugged R&B…it’s all there.  It’s no wonder the Black Jukebox Vinyl series became buy-on-sight and quick to disappear. File Under Disco revisit the 2013 Disco classic-in-the-making Make It Hot, one of the biggest tunes released on their 100% original Disco imprint. 

The original track showcased the musical talents of NYC maestro JKriv and the wonderful vocal skills of Adeline Michèle. These days Jason is one of the faces behind the Razor-N-Tape label, co-songwriter and bassist with live NYC disco act Escort and the producer behind various big releases on Z Records and Glitterbox. He really is a contemporary Disco Machine!

On this set of new remixes this fantastic production talent comes head to head with longstanding remixer extraordinaire and studio master Ray Mang. The man called Mang opts to launch the original into the outer dubsphere in his trippy and extended High Pressure Dub. This one puts out the disco fires with gasoline!

Meanwhile JKriv himself launches a new and raw electronic interpretation that completely reignites the original vocal performance by Adeline into an ecstatic dance floor work out.

Then it's over to old friends and disco compatriots Pete Herbert and Dicky Trisco deliver an Aperol-infused Balearic House rework of the original, which is the perfect soundtrack for those beach sunsets and summer nights that just refuse to end quietly.

Finally Brazilian maestros Balako dip the original in caiprinha soaked vibes to produce a tasty mix perfect for any sunset spent in a beach front kioske.

With the sun rising behind the olive trees, the fresh last minute summer breeze, and the smiling dance of beloved ones, I sang to the Orixás asking for protection, for mindfulness, for opening the paths, and so the music floated trough the decks.
