With LICKWEED and 9MM (part of PARABELLUM) he took part in the big Dour festival. He also compred during several years Promo-basket tournaments and during the school holidays he taught mixing to young people in the BREUGUEL centre and for the French community.

Shanghai-born, Singapore-raised and previously London-based, Eden has a track record nothing short of impressive. With the ability to transcend the boundaries of genres, Eden’s fusion of bass music, house, disco & Hip-Hop is instantly recognizable which renders his wide acclaim and demands.

Dubbed as the most badass DJ to have ever graced the decks of the North London-situated Silver Bullet club. It did not take too long for the London circuit to recognize the many talents of this Shanghai-born, Singapore raised creative.

While juggling a double life between night and day, Eden has played alongside Joey Negro, Norman Jay (MBE), Joker, Caspa, Giles Peterson and many other luminaries. Since take off, he has played in Berlin and Stockholm, completed several collaborative projects with 12-3 Recordings and its artists. His capability as a global DJ has proven once again at the inaugural Intel PowerUp DJ competition which he was placed as runner-up, while his set has gained praises from the judges; Benji B and Zeb Bias. 

Back in Asia, the sound of Eden did not cease as he ran the longest running residency and weekly Friday Affairs mixtape show on now-defunct China’s one and only electronic dance radio station, UDance Radio China. 

On a larger scale, Eden has supported Stereophonics, Rudimental, Mumdance, toured with Laura Steele and performed at summer festivities both in and outside London, including a show with ClockWork at the 2014 Berlin Festival.

His next ambitious project is to adopt the “Great Wall of Sound” and turn it into a globally recognised music label, receiving attention from Grammy-nominated multi-platinum producer, J-Vibe, local grime/Hip-Hop outfit, Ksounds, producer Sam Frank and other luminaries. Established in 2011, Great Wall of Sound has since released 2 albums, several Eps and also launched a merchandise brand called MerciMuse that focuses on combining design and heritage.

Currently located back in Singapore, Eden is a crew member of Bao Bao (宝宝), a Collective that is strongly rooted in the Bass scene. Other projects involved with are #Vinyloftheday and Singapore Community Radio, platforms that curate creative cultural content. 

As a regular DJ for fashion houses, Eden still holds down club nights creatively curated events and festivities.

"Rico" is a multi-genre musician from the South Side of Chicago. Robbins, Illinois to be exact, the same city as Dwyane Wade. What motivated Rico to make music was his uncle. His uncle had been working on music 15+ years and saw something in Rico he felt he could unlock. Starting out just making hooks and not even being serious about rapping. Rico slowly turned into a work-a-holic with music. Going from writing music for others to writing his own and also learning to be a producer. Actual fact, Rico spent 2 whole years of his life focusing on rapping and finding his own style that he worked on music EVERY SINGLE DAY of that 2years and gave himself writers block for a whole year. The "debut" project for anybody in close relation with Rico is Long Overdue. The idea behind the name "Rico" is pretty simple, one day he met someone and told them his name was Rico, they believed it, he stuck with the name.

What inspired the mixtape.? 
"Making music used to feel like a job to me once I first began. Trying to appeal to someone or something. Thinking about it too much. Although  I always had the ear for music, I didnt always know where I wanted to go with things or even what I wanted my career and music to be about. Over those years or practicing and putting music on the backburner for some years and just experiencing life. I came to the realization that the best way to live and especially make music. Is to just "Feel" it. Dont think about what to say or how you may sound just DO. I hear a track and I just vibe to it, sometimes even perform. No lyrics, no premeditated ideas, all freestyle brainstorming. 
As I like to say, I more often than not just let the universe work things out rather than trying to be in control of everything and thats where the beat selection came into play. I dont go looking for tracks to match lyrics or song ideas. I give beatmakers a fair chance and if I get a dope enough vibe to your beat, I work on it. If not, I keep it moving. I dont create just anything, but if I do, its a piece of art. 

Everything about the mixtape is coincidence, from how I got the beats.. Even after years of losing phones and beats and some beats that are no longer "free". To how I recorded the songs. Just how everything in general with this project lines up. I'd have to break that down in further detail later.

Its more to me than just this music, I just decided to use music as the first domino. Stay tuned because the show is just starting.
