Man of the hour X-Coast kicks off our ZeeZout advent calendar with his set from ZeeZout Festival 23. The Serbian-born who’s now hailing all the way from Brooklyn shows us once again why his versatility is taking him from stage to stage across the globe, seamlessly blending influences from all kinds of genres, blending disco samples into playful, upbeat tech-house grooves. Just what you want to hear when it’s 30 degrees out there, or just what you want to be reminded of when it’s December and it’s not anymore.

With BPM in dance music reaching its peak lately, @Maruwa1 felt the urge to slow things down on this week's Glitch Podcast. The first half of the set features a percussive and groovy sound, blending tribal and electro house with a distinct Y2K vibe. As the mix progresses, the tempo and energy increases as she seamlessly weaves together sounds for different eras, and a touch of euphoria. What a ride!

Bogota-born, Berlin-based Tania Humeres Correa aka @thc_dj has perfected the art of high-energy sounds that get big room crowds close together. The Rinse FM host has her own party series La Noche with Byron Yeates and sibling DHC, and with the latter plays back-to-back as S-candalo. Acid, potent rave bangers, vocal gems and deeper delights all feature in her sets which always look to combine an unbridled sense of party with plenty of emotional nuance.

This week's mix was recorded just after the start of festival season so is aimed at getting your summer started in style. Staying true to her signature house sounds with plenty of warmth, euphoria and rolling grooves, it's a perfect representation of her ideal dance floor soundtrack. While leaning towards the energy of the main stage and "anthemic vastness," her selections never forget about the all-important elements of intimacy and soul which help the beats make a lasting impression.

A nice progression felt throughout the 60 minutes, we're looking forward to seeing more of JON XVM in the future!

"I’m constantly on the hunt to find music, it’s been my soul mission to find old tracks that sound new. I find songs released in between 1990 & early 2000’s tend to have a more serious side to them, which I love, whereas tracks today seem to be more inviting and I absolutely love mixing this contrast in energy around. Nothing beats moments of euphoria quickly being plunging deep into the dark, hopefully you can see that in this mix"
