New mix comes courtesy of Iñigo Vontier. Hailing from Guadalajara, he's one of the best representatives of the vibrant modern mexican electronic scene.
He released tracks or remixes on plenty of different labels such as Nein, Roam Recordings, Duro, Codek, Factor City or french imprints La Dame Noire, Her Majesty's Ship and Chloe's "Lumiere Noire" in which he's going to deliver his very first album in the coming weeks. Alongside his pal Thomass Jackson he also launched his own label Calypso Records back in 2017.

If there's anything to make this joyless summer brighter then surely it's a new Afterlife release. One man Balearic machine Steve Miller does it again with the Summer Of Love EP; four cuts steeped in accomplished musicianship ranging from jazzy soulful touches to moodier, bluesey affairs. Here we feature 'Fou', a smoky, skankin' little number with playful congas to offset it's edgier synths.  Sunnier climes might be out of reach for many of us this year, but all you really have to do is let Afterlife take you there.

QMLS Show September With Special Guest - Mark Gardner (2020)

Project Spectre is the solo project of Iain McB, one third of Leeds based DJ and production outfit Clandestino.
 
DJing at clubs and festivals for over 20 years; Iain began producing a decade ago enjoying initial success with a number of original productions and remixes before taking some time out, returning in 2012 to form Clandestino with cohorts Joe Morris and Nick Smith. To date Clandestino have enjoyed releases on Is it Balearic?, Midnight Riot and Nein Records with their versatile style.
 
Project Spectre has a darker, harder edged sound taking influences from electro, tribal and techno; weaving in spacey and dubby elements aimed at late night dance-floors and lights-down-low rooms.
