After the success of our first VA we are pleased to announce a second instalment of Introspective on sequence music. This time ISKO has been handed the reins to curate 15 tracks that encapsulate his diverse sound. 

Hungarian producer ISKO has risen through the ranks of the melodic scene in the last few years. For Introspective Volume 2 he has brought together an array of global talent to realise his vision. 

From tough kicks and dark melancholic synths through to emotional progressive beats - the full melodic spectrum is represented by some of the most forward thinking artists in the scene.

Canto Rodado is a type of stone that has been worn smooth by erosion; or even moved to another place by a river or glacier. One of those that can be found near a lake or in the middle of a desert.
In her recordings of acoustic instruments like a very old Piano, a nylon-string guitar, a trumpet and a Tibetan bowl ideas become their own subject, striving for their very own uniqueness. Like in a dialectic process the recordings took their own identity, searching for their uniqueness, rather that merely supporting.
Structures erode and eventually become something new.
Time will be the water that shapes noises to become melodies.

Dubs on Acid is a collaboration between eight musicians, a DJ and an artist.

Every track on the album (with a couple of extras and alternate versions added in for good measure) has been expertly crafted into 'Duder’s Soundbwoy Flashback Mix', a DJ mix by Duderonomy.

The front cover is an original hand drawn illustration. A true work of art. High resolution copies of this and the rear cover are also included with the bandcamp album.

This track was originally made for a DOA production challenge.

The challenge was to make either a Reggae, Ska, Dub or Reggaeton song.

It had to be made within a few days and not contain any loops. Vocal samples were allowed.

As usual, my entry was made with #sunvox on an Android phone.

I used all stock SunVox sounds, with a little help from Stevie for the vocal samples.

It's the first song I've made in this genre, I was aiming for reggae but without vocals it felt a bit flat, so I added interest with dubby delay.

It was a lot of fun and a good learning curve.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access. You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
