https://soundcloud.com/gyusz69 sent me a while ago this backtrack and I thought it was really cool. I felt kind of inspired to write some lyrics for it and to think of a vocal melody but I didn't have a clear image for a story yet. I was binging Stargate at the time and well, that made me dream that I was travelling to other planets. 

This is a very lofi track though. The backtrack is an mp3 (the editable version was lost) so adding the vocals in was...interesting. We tried recreating the entire song but it didn't feel as good as the original. So this is more a demo of sorts, something that other people probably wouldn't post. It's not even mixed or mastered properly but I've tried to doctor it into what I hope is a decent enough track :))

Land at Last - The third of four chapters for a story about a  stranded cosmonaut in an Ocean World. The relief of seeing land after a long time adrift as the light at the end of the tunnel.

I have been away for some time and haven't been posting much in the last year. Instead, I have been focusing on learning for the sake of learning and becoming a better musician.

This is an old track that was meant to be posted a long time ago (2019), but I willl use it as the start of a new chapter for me.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
