I'm back! I've been working on this album for a while, was very excited to release it! This album is a combination of drum/drill n bass and ambient. I really enjoyed making this! Thanks for all the support that fueled me to create this, I hope you guys enjoy it and I'm really happy to be back! 
I used many drum breaks and cut very small portions of them to mix all together, and finally added them onto a kick beat and some instruments to create a chill yet tense vibe!
Fun fact: the title of this one is an anagram of "Element"!

Dutch duo |grens| I discovered through their self-released tape “Geen Mens Die Op Mij Let”. Their music is a sort of ambient and lo-fi IDM which you could consider like a missing link between Civilistjävel! and Wanderwelle. For this album on Vrystaete they locked themselves up in a cabin somewhere isolated. The result is more a radio play then a regular album. There is a clear narrative throughout the album based on the development of the mood and structures of the individual tracks and their interrelation.

Maybe “de verborgen kamer” LP is a bit dark for a Vrystaete but the sounds are never too cold and the textures are never too rigid… making the overall feel playful and organic despite the dark electronic basis. Possible this is due to the way the record is recorded… much more like a live performance as a composed piece… speaking of live performances… |grens| have been building a strong name for themselves with their concerts… so for sure this is flowing back into their recorded music as well…

|grens| I consider a valuable addition to the Dutch electronic music scene and next to simple fact that I do like their music I find it important to keep supporting new and upcoming musicians from this part of the planet. I am curious to see how |grens| will evolve from now on and “de verborgen kamer” LP is an invitation for you to step on board the journey…

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
