For my first show back at Mala Santa (formerly Club Planeta) since before the pandemic, I was given another extended opportunity to curate the night from ground zero. There's always something special about playing that first track to only the staff (+Brandon) before the night eventually gives way to the sold out chaos.

Kicking off the night to those staff members and extra-supportive friends arriving at doors, I started off this set particularly deep, upping the energy until I noticed the Anjuna faithful were packing out the venue particularly early. Right around the hour mark the challenge pivoted from deep-builder to convincing the crowd to migrate from the bars and high tops to the dancefloor. Here's the recording of that journey, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did on the night :)

About Deemkeyne[Germany]:

- Born in Kazakhstan, lives for 25 years on the beautiful Lake Constance in south of Germany
- Playing and Mixing electronic music since two decades
- starts seriously producing in 2015
- always inspired by the nature, the seasons, the universe, from micro cosmos to macro cosmos
- loves exploring with sound design of chords, percussions and atmospheres and loves playing sessions
- first release in 2018 in the underground Techno scene
- produces electronic music between Melodic Techno, Progressive House, Techno, Deep House and Dub Techno
- in last two years more focused on Dub Techno and Deep Techno
- since 2020 released on Apnea Label, Kopoc Label, Slope Point and another labels
- and the journey will continue….

Hailing from Switzerland, Jelena is a name to watch out for in the landscape of contemporary techno music. Her dedication to developing her artistic master emerged from the incredible  power she experienced on the dancefloors all across Europe. Those countless nights of dancing and the fascination of the effect the music had on her mind and body led her to explore the art of djing.

She began her journey as a dj in 2018. Besides playing records, Jelena is also estabilishing her skills as a producer, she recently release her debut ep "Vatra Gori" on the Swiss label Aerobik, that has already received great International support.

When Jelena is working the decks her first and most valuable mission is to create an atmosphere of unity and freedom to the crowd combining tribal, trippy texture techno with groovy elements. Lock in once again for a brend new episode of EXTEND PODCAST. Shockwave is coming!

Entre sus referentes musicales se destacan Hernan Cattaneo, Lee Burridge, Eelke Kleijn, Guy J, entre otros.

Israel is only the executioner, every nation which has armed that country in the past year is an accessory to that genocide, an accomplice, a facilitator.
