Sweat Dreams was born on a dance floor on Wadawurrung Country in 2016. Jules and Daz celebrate their shared love of music by creating genre-defying mixes drawing from House, Techno, Breaks,Deep/Dark Disco, Balearic, Arabic Electronica and EBM. Connecting with people through music and contributing towards a strong dance community is their passion. As well as throwing their own parties under the banner of ‘Sweat Dreams Presents’, their reputation as party starters and track selectors has seen them invited to play at festivals and venues in Naarm and beyond. When they’re not mixing, you can find them on the dance floor.

Today's episode is provided by LUĐØ, born in Barcelona in 1981, he has always been surrounded by music.

LUĐØ grew up listening to different styles such as Thrash, Heavy, Grunge, Hip Hop, Indie, and all kinds of electronics, Techno especially. Deeply marked by sessions from Oscar Mulero, Ángel Molina or Jeff Mills among others, he decided to start DJing and show the music he is passionate about. His sessions are characterized by being hypnotic and compelling.

Member of different collectives in the past, he organized events like Studio 69, Spicy Space or Benight, and has played in venues such as Slow Club, BajoFondo, the Rouge and Café Bar 18.
In 2022, he started a new event series called A Taste Of Techno, with the idea of supporting DJs from the Barcelona scene. He is also an active collaborator in Ameba (Asociación de Música Electrónica de Barcelona).

Together with Daniel Jon McKiernan, he launched the label ATOT Records, where they publish their solo songs and those of Yötön Yö, a project they share which combines electronic music, instrumental rock and soundtrack.

His productions have been published on labels like Plastic, ATOT Records and Loopaina Records.

Damjan Vojtovic is a Polish dj based in the UK's underground scene for the past almost 15 years with 3 of those years as host and resident dj at Ambasador Club Evesham, where he organized a series of events with alternative music called Electronic Sound Session. Host of Xpress Yourself podcast on Soundcloud. His recognizable signature sound is a masterful combination of sublime, refined beats and melancholic, gloomy melodies, deep analog basslines. With passion to melodic sounds his sets are a combination of house, deep, progressive, tech house, breakbeat and techno sounds and everything around oriental sounds and melodic flavour.

My linux won't boot so I'm presently forced to use Windows, and because of the bug in Soundcloud's system my account is all messed up when I don't use a VPN to connect which I am unable to do now... trying to get help from my VPN provider.  Because of this, and because I started working very long days I will be less present here.  Sorry, I'm trying.

Ever since the closing of this account by error by SC two or three months ago, this problem has remained unfixed.  Soundcloud and their AI are apparently still working on solving this and other problems with this account, and with my other account ; )

2024/01/29:
What I wrote below was heart felt but presumptuous and pretentious.  I would have to not be stupid myself to be allowed to claim such a thing.  More importantly though, I don't believe it is correct or accurate.  These people are probably not stupid but just don't care.  Justice is a collective thing and many if not most people seem to live in bubbles.  It is perhaps economic oppression which is responsible, they just don't have the resources, the time, the energy to be concerned about what lies behond that bubble.  It used to be fine but there's this thing they call globalization which makes this increasingly impractical or impossible.

mid January 2024:
Justice and vengeance are not the same.  Apparently most people are too stupid to see the difference.  Unfortunately it is not something unique to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and not unique to group conflicts.

What happened to intelligence?  Aren't we supposed to be the "intelligent" specie.
