Demord Enregistrements is glad to present this new 12" vinyl release.
"G-SLANG" is a split EP between 96 Scream and Colt, exploring two visions of retaped hip-hop "slang". Seven titles that smell bitumen and large urban areas.

It's the first release on 12" for 96 Scream from the Simple Music Experience gang. He's also a part of Violent Quand On Aime, Haydee, and Radiante Pourpre. On this record, 96 Scream made Memphis and NYC 90's sounding beats on the $cream side: four tracks drawing from Prince Scream’s sample and tape background.

Booty Side is Colt’s dry and tense vision of ghetto bass, ears eyeing the 90's and 00's stages of Chicago or B-more. With a rythm box, a sampler and a Mother-32 he made three tracks on speed, recorded in live conditions, and mixed by Tioma Tchoulanov.

After taking a plunge into the depths, He was expecting nothing at all - I guess.
Falling down, sinking deeper and deeper, the water was colder and colder.

He decided to close his eyes while waiting for the inevitable to come...

...But, for some reason, the inevitable did not happen.

He started to feel a warm light under his eyelids so he opened his eyes.

The expanse was limy, salty and colorful. Various creatures were all around him: jellyfish, polychaetes, prawns and others twisting and crawling within coral reef tree-like structures and bright sand. The sunken garden was constantly moving and pulsating.

He got overwhelmed by this variety of stimuli and raised his head to look up. There was only darkness above.

Patricia Gurband debuts at Float Records with a well crafted 4-track EP called Hypnotized Time. The opening track, Hypnotized Time, is a mood swinger that takes you on a journey where two worlds melt in one. Invisible Dancer, the 2nd track has that ultimate loopy groove based structure with subtle percussion elements and goes on and on and on. The 3rd track, After 3AM, is based on a dazzling sleepy sequence with hefty beats. The closing track, Bouncer, has a modest groovy approach, but does show a bit of teeth around the 1 minute mark.

The conflict has ceased to be about the defense of anything for months.

The parties responsible have made a mockery of decency, morals, fairness, proportion, or justice, not to mention empathy.  Of what little there was, these concepts will be a lot longer to come back than they were to be struck down.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access. You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
