This week's theme was "Roots/Influences" so I went back to the first album I ever bought - Gary Numan's "The Pleasure Principle". I usually prefer to try to find my own sound, or at least a blend of several influences, but in this case I tried to recreate as close as I could to the sound of that album with my own original song. I couldn't have done it without the amazing Polymode virtual synth though.

Synthetic vocals by Emvoice Jay and Lucy - that was the one part of the sound I was never going to get close to.

Deepest apologies to Mr Numan for blatantly ripping off his sound here!
