Bio:
Drum and Bass Express was created on the 19th June 2011 by Tom Westwood. It was born from the inspiration of how music was being shared online through Facebook, YouTube and Soundcloud. 

Tom found that a few pages on Facebook became a common place, and he could undoubtedly find old and new Jungle and Dnb that he'd loved since the early days of the scenes inception.

This stirred Tom to want to run one of those places too, and he worked tirelessly with others to make DNBE the success it has become. 

Through Soundcloud, Tom found a new outlet to compliment what the original page was doing. This was supported by a small group of quality DJ's which really kick started the success of DNBE on this media channel.
 
People in the scene were extremely helpful and Tom found himself gaining Exclusives from some of the biggest and best names: Teddy Killerz, Submatik, Zombie Cats, Mistanoize, Dieselboy, Maztek, Rregular to name a few. 

DNBE is proud to support up and coming DJ's. In fact, some of those DJ's have had a great impact on DNBE by bringing so many great mixes to the fold. This, in turn has contributed to the growth of the Soundcloud vein. So, as it always has and by way of thanks, DNBE will always continue to represent them.  
 
At the start of 2016, The DNBE Facebook page amassed well over 13'000 likes while its Soundcloud account is in excess of 25'000 followers and is growing everyday. 

It's now time to push things even further. 

DNBE realizes it has the perfect platform to start a new outlet for Jungle and DnB. Something unique among the vast galaxy of labels. They have enlisted one of the scenes existing and established producers as new partner to help bring this vision to life. The intention is to bring out regular releases that showcase the latest Jungle, Liquid, Dancefloor & Tech from well known names and shine a light on the latest talent. 

DNBExpress is proud to present brand new label  "The Express" - representing Jungle and Drum & bass in FULL.

On to the good news then: I have a new co-manager. He is my brother, he has a diploma in sound engineering, produces dnb, dj's, and is currently doing a university degree in media. I hope he'll bring some media management skills to the party so that we can get this ball rolling again, and pick up where we left off.

With two of us running the show there's less chance of both of us being irresponsible (haha), and we should have more time to manage things properly.

Greetings fellow World Records crew!
My name is Bennett and I am a drum ‘n’ bass Dj and producer from Adelaide, South Australia using the moniker Skunkwerks. I have a Diploma in Audio Engineering from SAE Studios here in South Australia. I am also currently doing a degree in Media at The University Of Adelaide.
Josh has kindly made me Co-Manager World Records with him. There are a few of us down here in Adelaide starting to make some seriously nice sounding tunes and I hope to get some of them onboard in the near future.
I’m 26 years old and a qualified sound engineer with about 7 years Djing experience. I have produced across different genres but have recently focused solely on drum’n’bass as it is the superior form of music. 
Josh and I are committed to making something awesome out of World Records and look forward to working with a wide and varied range of artists. We hope to establish a label with some real public recognition as a means to get all of our music heard worldwide (and hopefully sold on a commercially viable basis).
I will happily put up some bits of mine for remixing and will most likely send some of you guys out a remix request. 
Initially, If necessary, I can master tunes by myself in my studio with the possibility of full professional mastering in a multimillion dollar studio in the future.
Exciting times, look forward to communicating with you all in the future.

Stickybass Records is a DnB label from Belgium.

Dub Gabriel is a music producer, multi-instrumentalist and DJ based in San Francisco. He started his career 20 years ago in New York City, throwing warehouse parties in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, which at the time was a little known area, but his parties helped lay down the groundwork for nightlife in the now Brooklyn mecca. NYC press was taking notice and soon after, he was being featured in such publications as Interview, New York Times, Time Out NY & Village Voice. This eventually led to some of the biggest clubs in NYC booking Dub Gabriel, at places such as The Limelight, Twilo, APT, Cielo, Tonic, Knitting Factory and others. 

In 2005, he was offered a residency at Goya in Berlin, located at the original location of the notorious Metropol club & was built in a turn of the century opera house that survived two world wars. While living in Berlin, he toured continuously through Europe playing everywhere from anarchist squats to mega-festivals. 

In 2007, Dub Gabriel moved back to the States to San Francisco and in the following year he established his record label, Destroy All Concepts, a genre-defying label that was designed to be the home for various projects of Gabriel’s collaborations and productions. Highlight of guests include reggae legends, U-Roy, Ranking Joe & Brother Culture. Also, U.K. Dubstep pioneers, The Spaceape & Warrior Queen. And, world music giants, Master Musicians of Jajouka & Balkan Beat Box, as well as members of rock’s elite including Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Michael Stipe of R.E.M., David J of Bauhaus/Love & Rockets and Golgol Bordello vocalist/percussionist, Pedro Erazo. 

His albums have all been critic’s picks in the music press. Dangerous Minds says “Gabriel showing ultimate respect for the dubwise tradition as he seeks to launch it deep into this new century.” Billboard compared him to Brian Eno, XLR8R called his albums a “Philosophical Masterpiece” & Paste called it a “Kubrickian Soundtrack For Future Societies”. 

Besides his love for the studio, Dub Gabriel still finds time to keep an active touring schedule throughout North America, Europe and Asia. He has performed at such festivals as Outside Lands in California, Shambahala Music Festival in British Columbia and Fusion Festival in Germany to name a few.

Originally from Saint-Etienne in France's industrial heartland, Dub Inc fuse classic roots reggae with dub, dancehall, ska, hip-hop and African influences. They create an intoxicating musical hybrid with highly charged and socially conscious songs which have earned them cult status in their native France. 

Their wild, high-octane live performances led to an ever expanding and loyal fan base. With a fierce independent spirit and away from the media spotlight, Dub Inc have become the most successful reggae band playing in Europe today, and are now a fixture at major festivals across the world, having already appeared at Paleo, Francofolies, WOMAD and headlined Rototom Sunsplash or Summerjam. 

Charismatic lead singers Hakim "Bouchkour" Meridja and Aurelien "Komlan" Zohou sing in English, French and Kabyle (a Berber language native to Algeria). Backed by deep rolling bass (Moritz Von Korff), keyboards (Frédéric Peyron and Idir Derdiche), guitar (Jérémie Grégeois) and drums (Grégory "Zigo" Mavridorakis), Bouchkour and Komlan convey strong positive messages through their striking vocals creating music with a truly universal appeal. 

Since forming in 1997, Dub Inc have produced six studio albums, two EP's and two live albums. Their new album So What (2016, Diversité) perfectly embodies the potent combination of infectious energy, distinctive melody and engaged, combative lyrics.
