"Yellow (For Les)" is the 4th studio album from Mackenzie H and his 8th overall music product. On the 25th of July, 2024, my Grandad, Leslie Harold Hallberg passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at the age of 77. A service for him was held on the 30 of July which my wife and I both attended along with all of the other family members. A few days before the service, I was asked if I would like to perform a song after the spoken tributes. The song they wanted me to perform was "Yellow" by Coldplay. I said yes. When I arrived home, I recorded a 2-track single of the same song in honor of Grandad. This single was released on the 21st of August, 2024 and was recorded, mixed, and produced by Mackenzie H.
