HUJUS is back on LABURNŪM with an EP full of tribalistic rhythms, granular textures, and obscure vocals. We are ecstatic to have him back on the label as he has been making waves in the scene with his secret sauce of heavily danceable syncopated drums, infusing tribal techno with modern sound design and a no-nonsense, club-ready, approach.

On the B Side of the dubplate, two heavy weights of the groove scene are taking on the remix duty: Frenzy's Isaiah contributes a stripped down version of "Lights" while Danny Wabbit delivers a hypnotic rework of "Butyric Acid". Enjoy.

Beneath its high-energy surface, a powerful undercurrent of melody and euphoria rises. Abstract Mechanisms is a sublabel of Mexico's leading techno imprint, Illegal Alien. Also run by Ricardo Garduno, it has featured contributions by Jonas Kopp, Ruman, Singular Anomalies, Yrsen, and Mari Mattham.

The new four-track EP 'Solitary State' is by Decoder, a much loved American artist from Dallas who has released on Jeff Mills' Axis Records, Amotik Records, TWR72's Float, Edit Select Records, Molecular Recordings, and Science Cult, amongst others.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Phantom 4" with a deep and introspective sound. Dancing modular tones set the muted and gentle atmosphere around the stuttering kick and tinkering hats for a joyful sonic trip into space.
