C-Easy is releasing his 3rd iteration of the Day mixtape series, dating back to 2020 with the original Day 1 mixtape. This series has a theme of using instrumentals found on YouTube and then releasing them exclusively on YouTube and SoundCloud for non-profit. This project follows suit and comes in a more experimental indie-style compared to the usual R&B. Songs like “Feels Like Summer” and “Singing Slow Songs to Myself” are true summer songs and provide an upbeat atmosphere, while songs like “Thistle Dew” and “Stars” are slower and tone the project down a bit. The outro song, “Holding Your Hand” is a very experimental progressive song that provides a unique ending and foreshadows the future. C-Easy will be releasing the single “How Does It Feel” a week prior to the project’s due date.

Day 3

C-Easy finishes the year with a homecoming show full of remixes. Following 2021’s Spring Mixes and Summer Mixes, this 9-song project consists of a new flavor from C-Easy. He provides more in-depth writing and vocal production, as well as unique melodies instead of following a traditional suit to each song. C-Easy hosts JeffVibez once again, marking their twelfth collaboration together on a remix of Jacquees' new song “Touchdown.” The single for this project is the outro song, “Salute,” which is dedicated to C-Easy’s late grandfather, who passed on November 1st of 2024.

C-Easy is finally releasing his debut album, Another Night. This alternative R&B album consists of a variety of sounds, melodies, instruments and lyrics. The idea began with the project-titled intro song, and then stemmed from there. C-Easy has recruited his close friend, JeffVibez for his only feature on the project in the intimate R&B song “Alone With You”. This marks their twelfth collaboration together and is their first song on streaming platforms.

C-Easy's 4th studio song released on all platforms, "Stranded" is a battle between love and hate, being fended off by hope. The message explains his interest in another, saying he "can't give up," even though there is no chemistry within the two parties. This goes on into the verses offering to stay or leave, while also stating his incompetence when it comes to having other people around whilst with the "insignificant" other. In the end, there is no winner and both love and hate are left to retreat.

Remix of J. Cole’s “Port Antonio”

The introductory track for C-Easy's send-off for 2024, "Origami Hearts" is not only the longest track of the project, but also the start of a vulnerable approach for music from him. The song is C-Easy sending a message that it's okay to be imperfect, but bad habits will hold you down. He implies the recipient is trying to cover up the fact they are dishonest about cleaning themselves, but also adds that he himself isn't perfect. The second verse carries the weight that the person of interest is still desired, even if it's weighing C-Easy down, resulting in "folding their origami hearts."

Remix of Eminem’s “In Too Deep”

The second track off of C-Easy’s Fall Mixes project is a very upbeat Indie-flipped version of Eminem’s popular track, “In Too Deep.” The song describes C-Easy building up the confidence in a woman, with “potential,” to go out and live her life comfortably. She ends up slacking and ruins the moment, frustrating C-Easy. He ends up realizing he needs to remove her from his life and move on.

The third track off of C-Easy’s newest project is called “Luxury Love,” a toned-down flip of Jacquees' recent song from his 4th studio album “Margiela Sex.” This song consists of C-Easy comparing his love to designer clothing and luxury brands like Goyard, Moncler and Gucci. The song states that the woman-of-interest will receive likewise treatment.

“Passion Project” marks the sixth song from C-Easy’s new project and is a remix of “I-95” by the incredible Yoko Gold. C-Easy goes off saying he is fighting to have a strong relationship with the subject but notices she is unsure about her future, making the idea of the relationship a “passion project.”

Remix of Josh Makazo’s “Human Nature”

“11:11” is the fourth track off of C-Easy’s Fall Mixes project and is a remix of Singaporean singer, Josh Makazo’s song, “Human Nature.” The song expresses C-Easy’s anxious thoughts when the subject of the song is out late at night. He questions himself why he invited her to his heart when he is only “stabbing myself in the back, running it back.” He is regretful and reveals only shame towards the other party.
