C-Easy is releasing his 3rd iteration of the Day mixtape series, dating back to 2020 with the original Day 1 mixtape. This series has a theme of using instrumentals found on YouTube and then releasing them exclusively on YouTube and SoundCloud for non-profit. This project follows suit and comes in a more experimental indie-style compared to the usual R&B. Songs like “Feels Like Summer” and “Singing Slow Songs to Myself” are true summer songs and provide an upbeat atmosphere, while songs like “Thistle Dew” and “Stars” are slower and tone the project down a bit. The outro song, “Holding Your Hand” is a very experimental progressive song that provides a unique ending and foreshadows the future. C-Easy will be releasing the single “How Does It Feel” a week prior to the project’s due date.
