Fay Sebel is a Music Producer, Sound Designer &amp; Engineer based in London, UK.
Sound designer, engineer and producer Fay Sebel has an intense and deep connection with sound, drawing from aspects of
soundscapes and the journey they take us through within a listening experience. Brought up in Greece, Fay now lives and
works from London and has an HNC qualification from Point Blank College in London alongside Music Business and Music
Technology at VIT Delta in Greece. Intrigued by where sound can take us within our bodies and minds, Fay explores this
concept on every level. Admiring proven theories such as Sound Therapy and Musicology, her work exploits our instinctive
reaction to musical material, concentrating on how the human brain perceives sound to tune into emotion.
Heavily inspired by producers and artists of all genres and composition, Fay holds a list of epic music that has influenced
and continued to inspire her throughout the years. She names her influences as; Parov Stelar, Moby, Prodigy, Depeche
Mode, Disko Partizani, Bjork, Mandalay, Massive Attack, Portishead, Queen, Radiohead, Kraftwerk, Parallel Lines,
Trentemoller, Sigur Ros, M.I.A, John Cage, Data Movement, Terry Riley, Phillip Glass, Pierre Schaeffer, Sakamoto Ryuinchi,
Quantic , Robert Miles and many others.
From journeys of delicate ambience to the bass ridden depths of electronic, Fay Sebel’s music is always designed with
purpose. To remove and transport, to connect and disconnect, to place and remain. Her sound is experimental and
atmospheric, not necessarily for the dance floor or with ‘dance’ inducing purpose. Analogue sounds of day to day objects
and processes are combined with elegant samples, up-beat moods or dark and monotonous mind trips. It’s music for the
mind, allowing the listener to feed the imagination and evolve what they hear into their own conclusion.


The War Toys, arising from the supposed ashes of Battle Cat and Johhny Mohawk & The Assassins, is to be considered a fresh start for multi-instrumentalist The Chad, one where the approach to writing this material is deliberately taken on from a different mindset. While the stylistic devices he has developed over the years will remain evident, The Chad is planning to approach this project from a brand new bastion and attack with a freshly unearthed fervor. Though the building is oft slow, The War Toys plan to rumble forward with focus on feeling and hook, substance and sound.

Deathkill Records [defkil ri;kourds] is a label that focuses on the newest and most potential heavy bands out there waiting to be signed. Our goal is to sign more than 100 bands until 2015 and we're hoping to achieve that with sheer will power and the power of  the unhole. 

Although Death Metal is in all of our hearts, we wish other band join too! If you wish to know what band should join, just listen all these great metal band that have already join in the Deathkill Records family, like the dubstep influenced Blood Wampires or pure death metal band Diarrhoeic Infection! The Souls Liberation Mixes are dedicated to the love I have for music, the art of dj-ing and my desire to share my eclectic music collection which I have gathered over decades.

I began dj-ing in my hometown of Portland, Jamaica where I dj-ed at clubs, parties, festival events, parades, and most importantly with friends.  

While in Jamaica I worked with MTV, Polyphon Films, the Dave Mathews band and other talented musicians. 

In 2000 I left Jamaica and toured Canada and the USA before deciding to settle in the UK.  

I’ve been dj-ing in the UK since 2001. I was a resident DJ for Revolution Bars, promoted my Soundscape music sessions at the Big Chill Bar, Bristol and continue to do gigs at various venues across the UK.   

I have been fortunate to collaborate with many talented musicians, they include Afrika Bambaataa of Zulu Nation, Daddy G (Massive Attack), Chartwell Dutiro, Aquasky, Freq Nasty, Pee Wee Ellis (James Brown), Alex Wilson and Mr. Benn.  

Most recently it was my honour to be asked to perform with The Vibes as the opening act for the legendary dub originator, the man behind The Upsetters and the likes of Bob Marley, Lee "Scratch" Perry.

My style is truly eclectic and surpasses the common definition of World music and I believe my mixes send positive vibes and a feel good energy suitable for all audiences.

I continue to appear (MC, Dj and Dance) at major festival events around the world and at UK promoters nights.

My mixes represent a lot of producer’s work that I thoroughly enjoy – producers need djs, just as djs need producers and the general public to give a listening ear.  I want to also openly say that I’ve done a bit of producing, but I do not buy into the belief that you have to be a producer to be a dj. 

These mixes were done straight from beginning to end as you hear them, there is no editing or software aided recording in them, they were done by myself and some of the mixes involve other friends’ contributions. So in short, all the mixes were done hands on deck style.

Born and raised in Ostend, music has always been a big passion for Dj Mr.Pinhead. Already from early age he accompanied each week his parents to the record-store, learning a lot of different genres and generations of music along the way. When he got older he particularly got passionate by electronic music which lead him to start spinning Acid, Acid-Techno,Tekno ,Core, Hardtek and Techno in 1998. Very soon after he discovered that even other genres were contributing to his mixing and that variation was becoming the main element of his style no matter if it was Minimal, Tech-house, Booty, Electro, Breaks,... . The passion for music kept growing and it didn't take long for him to become a known face in the local nightscene and beyond, bringing his music to party's, clubs and after-clubs (Acid attack, Krush club, Decadance, Bangtraxx, La Scala, Zanzibar, Kozzmozz,...) on a regular basis. 2009 marked the year he started producing but his biggest love will always remain the mixing

Frankincense would like to share with you our new 5-song EP entitled “Barbara.” It was recorded by the band in Minneapolis and Alexandria, MN and mixed at Ecstattic Studio by Ali Jaafar of Hollow Boys.
Titled in a nod to the feminine version of the Greek word “barbaros,” meaning “foreign,” Frankincense aims for an unfamiliar sonic character by pitting warm fuzzy guitars against opposing stabbing-staccato guitars, with bass guitar runs playing peacemaker between the two while the drums attack areas of the sound field that the stringed instruments can’t reach…..or refuse to. 
The individual ingredients may seem at odds with each other at times, but they never quarrel to hold dominion; it’s just that great importance is given to evenly distribute the pieces of sonic ground. As stated by City Pages: “Frankincense is extremely talented when it comes to assembling a collage of noises and making them into a happy, restless scrapbook.” An obvious riff or melody is rare.
Where do lead singer Samantha Wenwoi’s vocals fit into this occasionally tense mix? Her unique melodies glue together her instrumental brethren’s insistent independence. Samantha pairs the instantly inviting vocal timbre of R& B style vocals with the powerfully unconventional melodies of singers like Bjork or Annie Clark of St Vincent. 
Lyrical themes are kept somewhat close to the vest. The initial listen won’t betray all messages, but over time lyrical hints surface: uncertainty and doubt; memories of things lost and possible; defiance and pride. A few literary links surface, with the title of lead off track “Sister Carrie” referring to the Theodore Dreiser novel of the same name, and “Puella” touching on Jungian psychology. No matter how cryptic Samantha’s lyrics can sometimes be, you’ll remain curious about her stories…..or if the stories are even her own. 
The band means to prevent you from settling too contently into that especially comfy living room chair while the “Barbara” EP plays, hopefully very loudly. Frankincense’s music demands an alert ear, like a much cooler version of a cheesy movie poster imploring the passerby to “expect the unexpected.” All flowery assessments aside, at its core the music of Frankincense strives to combine beauty with the fuzzy, distorted notes that first inspired audience members to throw up devil horns en masse.


Ladies and Gentlemen, gather round and summon your courage, for you are on the precipice of an experience you won’t soon forget! An entertainment spectacle not suited for children, the elderly, pregnant women or Nickelback fans! In the sewers and back alleys of Allston Rock City potent and perverted musical forces have given birth to a Monster… an Eight-Headed Freak that has a long and sordid history of savage attacks on the cliches of American Popular Music. Spewing half-digested remnants of metal riffage, bebop licks, and soul grooves, the Beast is as unpredictable as It is ugly. Local residents must remain on their guard, for It is known to seduce Its listeners with soothing siren songs, catchy melodies, and danceable grooves, only to viciously and suddenly attack the eardrums with bile-spewing free jazz and math rock meltdowns. Rumored to have nurtured Itself on wastewater flowing from prominent local Music Institutions, the Monster has acquired a voracious appetite for new genres to dismember and new crowds to shock and entertain. Hear Ye, Hear Ye! In the grand tradition of luminous musical freak shows such as Zappa and the Mothers, Mingus, and Mr. Bungle, I present… the electrifying, the terrifying, the horrible…. STRANGE CHANGES!!

Jeffrey had an unstoppable drive to create rhythmic sounds and patterns.  Whether it was getting in trouble for tapping on his desk or drumming with his pencil, he soon realized that this was not just a tic or impulse, it was a significant part of his makeup.  After getting off the bus from school he would go home, jump on his bike and spend his afternoons in the nearby record shop. After mowing many lawns he was able to save up an purchase “Massive Attack Mezzanine”, a record that got many plays on his CD Walkman. "I just never got sick of the album… it sucked me in".
 
Little did Jeffrey know that these musical influences and activities would remain an important part of his life.  Now, bicycles are replaced by cars and record stores visits have become countless hours at Guitar Center… the passion lives on.
 
This has all translated into a career as an emerging DJ/Producer. Jeffrey is very clear about who he is now and the type of artist he will continue to grow into. “I am not going to be that guy that just pieces tracks together because of hype or because it sounds like it might turn into a top 40 song”.  “It drives me crazy when people don’t take a stand artistically”.  Jeffrey is adamant about creating sounds that represent him; something distinctive and unique.

Drolatique is a 25 years old dj/producer from Italy.
He was born in Sardinia. In 2011 he moves to Dublin where he works and experiments different contemporary music expressions.
Today he lives in Lille, France, where he keeps producing music and collaborates in small clubs in the city.

He starts sampling beats and composing at the age of 13 thanks to his uncle who introduced him to the world of the music workstations.
As autodidact, he starts listening curiously and obsessively the colours and the awesomeness of the Big Beat, the Old skool hip hop,
the electro-funk and the avant-garde electronica by Kraftwerk and Aphex Twin. This way he finds a certain pleasure on
picking up old records, dismembering them and stealing everything was sampleable in order to experiment new sounds that recall the alternative dance.

A constant amount of work and research in what it was his studio/bedroom brings him to discover small realities where he
finds his same method of operation and authorship. So he discovers some of the artists that still today remain on his music abecedarium:
Boards of Canada, Air, Apparat, Four Tet, Mogwai and Massive Attack. 

Despite the fact that he has been working and he keeps working under different aliases Drolatique is the sincerest one.
Every song comes from an authentic and pleasant feeling often found in peripheral moments of the day, those safe moments that are marked by
our daily 'tachycardiac' habits.

In 2009 he receives the first feedbacks on the well known platform Soundcloud.
His music is regurarly reviewed and reposted on music blogs online. In the second week of august 2010 his song ''A rainy morning'' is the most played on
Hype Machine. He releases then two tracks with the Buenos Aires-based record label Miniatura Records, one of which is included in the label's
best releases compilation. At the end of the year the track ''Souvenirs D'été'' is included on a radio show in Belfast.

In the Irish soil he attends the underground scene in the kaleidoscope of initiatives that it proposes. From the rare illegal raves
to the more popular after-parties, to the super live sets in big clubs by the most important and influent artists in the house/techno scene.
It grows on him the passion for the house culture, his needs as listener changes incessantly and let him dig for old records that gave birth 
to this music genre. At the end of 2013 he creates a new parallel project called Alan's BRKFST that consist of two bimestrial podcasts focused on the 
pre-house era (''GO FUNK YOURSELF'': Disco, Electro, Funk, Hip
Hop, Soul, Boogie, Jazz) and the new house underground (''WEEKEND HOUSEKEEPERZ'': Deep House, UK House, Tech-house).

Drolatique comes back in the summer 2014 with a remix of Caribou's track of the year ''Can't do without you'', this time
he experiments new wave sounds due to his eternal and nostalgic love for analog equipment and he tries to revive that positive and
carefree atmosphere of the 80s.

The 2015 starts with an original track called ''Sexe/Drogue/MacDo'', that evokes the feelings of long sundays spent 
eating junk food, smoking and making love.
