Nice sound! Love this Ventris preset. Thanks for recording this excellent clip. We absolutely need to share this with the rest of the Source Audio Neuro Community.

An attempt to recreate with Ventris Reerb the elusive "taj mahal" preset on the Alesis Quadraverb. I tried to replicate the exact same settings of the preset in the Quadra unit. I paired the Hall Reverb with a slight Shimmer to recreate the chorusy tails of the original. To boost the effect I also tweaked the time at which both reverbs engage + pith shifting modulation. Control 1 and 2 can be lowered for a reverb that's more on the background. The first part of the audio is almost full wet to give an idea of the effect's full power, the rest of the audio has more dry signal so you can listen how it sits on the background. There's also a mid part with Tubescreamer engaged with wet signal for shoegaze goodness.

I tried to record this through a DAW but the sound was too compressed and thin, so I used directly my amp and recorded live sound with a shitty phone. Yes the mic is not the best but the effect is aimed mostly for buckley\shoegaze fans so please don't mind the lo-fi quality of the recording

A chorus pedal after the Ventris with subtle settings enhances the effect.
