Twilight Expanse is the latest reissued EP from New York producer Ebeats, who originally released this great breaksy classic in the early noughties. 

A crude minimalist exploration in breaks and dub effects, we’ve got the ultra-wally zoner ‘Helion’, a hyper-compressed version of an ambient Aphex perambulator, and the comparatively jazzy and surreal ‘Twilight Expanse’. On the B also come remixes by Radioactive Man and Voicedrone, which are far less playful, but make up for it with a modern heat that still respects the originals' direction.

New imprint Ernest’s Way delivers its first offering with a debut release from Australian based artist Featherstone.

The A-side of this four-track EP offers two highly effective dancefloor cuts that ride the line between many diverse influences of electronic music ranging from acidic electro to the early roots of techno. The B-side follows up with two deeper, heavily emotive tracks that drift into an uplifting, euphoric and dreamy atmosphere whilst remaining complimentary to the driving rhythms that open the EP.

After curating his debut EP we invited Parisian artist https://soundcloud.com/briquezer to display his love for digging. In this mix Brique showcases his versatility, taking a pedagogical approach starting with easy listening and relaxed cuts before slowly diving into more clubby, deep and loopy sonorities.  The result is a 1h14min trip through some of Brique’s favourite records, oscillating between funky, spaced out and burning with urgency atmospheres.
