Cosmic JD is a Colombian-born Producer and DJ based in Toronto, Canada. Highly regarded as a key player in the underground house and techno community both in the city and abroad. JD has received a quick notoriety with his records on Seekers, Subsequent, Melcure, Variable and his most recent on Varme. A talent behind the decks, in the studio, and behind the scenes, JD’s drive, skills and continued commitment to the underground make him an artist to keep watch on.

FLAWEd Podcast 014 - R.E.S.S

“snapout”, a Tokyo-based party crew of DJs and Producers, will launch a record label in early 2022.

“snapout” members include veteran DJ yama', who has been DJing since 1998, Takashi Himeoka, who has been making tracks since 2014 and has released on “Phreak” and “Cabaret Recordings” labels, Hisashi, who has played at several regular parties in Tokyo and contributed a track to “How High” label at the end of 2021, and Riku Sugimoto.

For the first single, Riku Sugimoto has created three tracks based on the atmosphere of “snapout”, adopt the essence of Detroit/Dutch techno and Chicago/UK house from the early 90s and early 00s.

With releases on Mood waves this year, and a stand out release on EYA a couple years back this man is quickly establishing himself around Europe, and performances at the mighty Hoppetosse only back this statement. In the past, being heard as KIM he used to perform together with Dmitry Zharkikh. In 2018, after a hiatus of three years, Viacheslav got back in the game launching the label - Kultura Zvuka and releases a split with Bodin & Jacob "Trulla" EP on his native @tvir. At this stage, writes music and runs @trance-pandemic label together with Eugene Kurilo. In addition to producing, he also did bookings at Kultura Zvuka Studiya and Yama party series in Kharkiv.

After revealing some of the mystery tracks with their second release from the unknown producer △, third installation on Moscow’s record label Exarde is coming to you from Slovenia. Four compositions are crafted with a proper use of analogue gear such as well-known Roland’s drum machines with them grooves and a lovely fat «moogy» basslines. 

As the story goes, they were made right between the years 2018-2019 and has started just as a part of the first ever live act of the artist. After a few tweaks 3 scenes became separate tracks and began their journey to the vinyl, then with the addition of the one home jam recording — Nidark EP was complete for your listening pleasure.
