.orbix was founded in 2007 by Joseph Williams.  He began to craft his sounds from his homemade studio in Florida.  Over the years his music has evolved into the unique sound that it currently is.  Each track paints a vivid sound-scape that moves and undulates with the complex, and oftentimes subtle melodies.  Whether it be as a solo artist or as a collaborator, his experimental electronic sounds are sure to delight the cochlea of any innocent listener.  So please, sit back, and Enjoi the Obscurity.

Hi. I'm Duncan. Zegema Beach Club is my lofi music project. I like to make synthwave soundtracks for movies that never existed. Occasional beats, too.

Beyond the rise blind eyes
needn't see to surmise the indeterminable
depth of the emptiness of Earth's shadow.
Fertile fields turn fallow as hate's ****
seeds countless war-torn lands
while grand weaponry expands.
Build until we annihilate whole countries at a time
in the sublime madness of power
the glowering fallout
suffocates our shouts of glee
gasping,

I'm a mama, partner, midwife, gardener, and music maker living in Madison, WI.  
I've previously created music in a thriving DIY community, where I also hosted house shows for years in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.  I took an extensive break from making music to focus my energies towards school, career, nursing my babies, and parenting.

You'll probably notice my gardening and knitting references a lot.
