Originally from the south side of Chicago, Chris was in a band in high school,  then produced and recorded local rock bands in his brother and sister-in-law's jazz studio - called Sparrow Sound Design (www.chicagosound.com). While Sparrow's jazz label (Southport Records) now has 100's of record releases  - Chris personally produced a few of the rock bands on his brother's Northport rock label. 

Continuing to produce bands and do sound engineering in college, Chris became one of the sound engineers for concerts at Iowa State's Hilton Coliseum and the lead sound engineer at the famous "Maintenance Shop" (ISU Student Union music venue and bar - https://www.sub.iastate.edu/maintenance-shop/) where many of the shows were recorded for national Public TV distribution. 

Today, Chris works in the Tech industry in Seattle and music is one of his creative outlets.
