As a Navy veteran with roots in Florida and Texas, his plainspoken stories of country life have struck a chord across audiences across the country. His latest releases showcase his remarkable evolution as an artist. Copperhead was born in Greenville, SC and raised in Cocoa, FL. He honed his skills as a musician while attending both the University of Central Florida and Baylor University. After enlisting in the Navy, Copperhead embraced the military lifestyle. He traveled extensively, learning to connect with diverse individuals while gathering inspiration for the songs that would later form his breakthrough full-length album Anchor. 

After the warm reception of his debut, Copperhead settled in the small town of Midlothian, TX. He and his newly assembled band began performing regularly across the state, winning over devotees at every turn thanks to their impassioned, high energy shows. Battle-hardened by years on the road, Copperhead entered Steel Records Studios.
