A talented, self made, striving can do DJ born and lives in Gaborone 'BW' grew up in South Africa 'ZA' till he was a teenager were he got the nick name ''Moeilik Hoof'' meaning ''difficult head'' but quickly Got their love and thus The name Blimp came along, the "DJ" aspect was Tagged one day at a bar when simply he got tired of the same old music and mix being played got behind the deck and never looked back this was in 2010,with sets of Electro ,Deep ,soul and commercial  yes its bumpy at first but the passion and dedication he has are pushing him towards his goal's with having him played with a few of. This southern hip hop supergroup was formed by Hunter (Kyron Hunter) and J. Mayes (Johnny Mayes) in late 2000. Coming from Houston and New Orleans, respectively, the band members absorbed everything from jazz to blues to rock to reggae and other international influences. This duo’s lyrical expressions can be distinguished by their cohesive combination of cool, classy, and catchy wordplay with genuine offerings of real life experiences. Concurrently, the group also displays a natural ability to create commercially appealing music without losing their creative freedom and expression. Embassi's primary production sound combines heavy bass lines beneath melodic overtones, due to two gifted southern producers Dayz and Machete. As individuals and as a group numerous recordings have been recorded on instrumental music of different genres. With the combination of high quality productions and masterful lyrical tone, content, and delivery Embassi is sure to become a dominant force in a new and revived direction of hip hop.

The word "embassy", ending with a "y", can be defined by Webster's Dictionary as “the office of a country’s diplomatic representative’s in the capital city of a foreign country.” The individual in charge of the “embassy” is known as the Ambassador. Hunter explains, "By our definition and spelling of the word; Embassi signifies an organization that monopolizes and we are ambassadors of change." J.Mayes, the cofounding member of the group, was met by Hunter through a mutual friend during which time both were attending Dillard University in New Orleans, LA. Their common interest in music and life joined them together establishing what would become the musical monument called Embassi. Later, while attending Dillard University, member J. Mayes earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications and Computer Science, with a specific interest of Audio Engineering. Being featured on several mix tapes around the city of New Orleans and following their many performances at venues such as The Blue Nile, The Dragons Den, The legendary Café Brasil, and the legendary Bottom Line amongst others , they decided to release their own mix disc cleverly titled "Kingdom Of The Kool". It was created in efforts to promote their debut singles appropriately tagged "Pandemonium" and “Pair Of Dice(pronounced Paradise)”. Both of which help to highlight the group’s refreshing approach to a genre that has as of recent been starving for something fresh and new.

These songs are expected to be underground anthems with thier suave southern feels over cool-groove bass lines, acoustic guitar, and soulful R&B hooks. The singles, as well as the album, averts from today’s now flashy gangster monomania for more profoundly insightful reflections of not only Black culture but also American culture. Its harks back to the classic era of rap epitomized by Outkast and A Tribe Called Quest. Some of Embassi's targeted fan base are, as Hunter says, “realistically our sound is being appreciated and liked by audiences ages 6 to 66.” Unfortunately before Embassi could launch its first musical campaign, the city of New Orleans was devastated by hurricane Katrina. Hunter sought refuge in Houston, home of J. Mayes who had returned after graduation only several months before the storm. Transforming a moment of grief and despair into fuel for their creativity, they recorded a mix disc titled “Da Answer”. This too was a promotional tool for the still unreleased “Tidals Of Soundwaves”, an album that was completed with Elevated Minds Music Group, and to no ones surprise “Da Answer” has been highly accepted by the many individuals who own it and provided constructive criticism. “We are giving it away and we only ask that people listen to it and give us constructive criticism”, J. Mayes commented when questioned about the small ” hood level” success received by that project. Since then, the up and coming supergroup has been traveling the country while continuing to record adding to their now extensive catalog of original works. Currently Embassi is under new management and continues to perform collaborating with artists such as New Orleans own DJ Black Pearl of GNO Sounds, Mystah Beeze of Westbank Records, Dapa of The Rap Pack, local radio DJ Mike Swift, and many others. The group ultimately aspires the goal of landing a realistic opportunity to transform their everyday ambitions into a highly cultivated success in the music industry.


Pierrot is a DJ and collector from Rotterdam with Flemish roots, born in the 80’s. His sets, shows and mixtapes are based on fundamental sounds collected over the years. Whatever crossed his path and reached out to his soul. Pierrot is going all directions. Difficult to put in a box, easy to adapt to.

Rui Da Silva is an electronic music producer. He runs Kismet Records, his own, successful, independent music label. He DJs all over the world.

Rui has been involved in music since he was a kid and in the music business since he set up the Kaos Records label in Portugal in the early 90s with the label he kick started the dance scene in Portugal 

in 1993 Rui creates the legendary Underground Sound of Lisbon the most influential electronic dance band out of Portugal till this day. The Seminal "So get Up" originally released under his label Kaos Records went on to be licensed to Tribal Records in the US, the international release of So Get Up came packaged with mixes from Junior Vasquez and Danny Tenaglia. this record became a classic in the Sound Factory in New York with Junior playing it constantly every saturday. 

In 1999 he moved away from his label Kaos Records and relocated to London in a search for new challenges. He set up Kismet Records and started recording under his own name.

In 2001 his music leapt from club to radio when his song Touch Me became an international number one single. 

Today he continues to produce club tracks and experimental electronic music always, as he puts it, “trying to change the sound and evolve as staying still gets me bored”. 

Kismet is still going strong in the digital age with a mission to “help new upcoming talent to break into the electronic music scene”. 

Rui’s formative years, growing up in Portugal, were spent listening to music and one-deck DJing at parties. Early influences included Tones On Tail, Talking Heads, Kraftwerk and Brian Eno. “But when I was 16 or 17 I realised that DJing wasn’t fulfilling as i was basically playing other peoples music!” 

After that he started playing bass in a band. “That was frustrating as I was the only one into turning up for the rehearsals.” 

Then, the revelatory experience, he started listening to early house from the US and the UK. “I decided to sell the bass and amp and buy a Roland 909 (drum machine) and start creating music. I liked the way it was all about the music and nothing about image.” 

From there it was only a small step to becoming a producer, party animal, and label boss. 

And the future? More production of course. “If I don’t do music I feel agitated.” And more new ideas.
“Trying to learn a little bit more. Making music is like cooking, you must plan it, and you need to source the right ingredients. But if you cook all the time you can start experimenting. The best part of the creative process comes from mistakes but to make a track you must also be organised, it’s the pull between these two poles that makes a great song.” And plenty of quality releases on Kismet. “After so many years in the business I’m in a position to help people and develop new talent.”

Biography	
At a time when electronic music is evolving at such a rapid rate that genres are born daily, it is more than difficult to keep pace with this ever changing scene. But it’s just that unpredictable aspect of all things electronica that is most appealing to BOOMDEK! It was only a matter of time before good friends Ben Singleton and Blake Malone teamed up to start something together that would express both of their distinctly differing musical tastes, and for the first half of BOOMDEK, it began almost a decade ago.
Ben found his appreciation in hard-style techno at a tender age and his passion drove him to achieve more than just his cutting edge DJ sets that ranges from bumpy beats that make your neck involuntarily rock to heavy bass assaults. Recent studies have shown that his DJ sets have been felt within a 200km radius and measure a 5.5 on the Richter Scale. Performing under the alias ”DJ SYLO”, Ben’s played at numerous clubs along the east Australian coast such as Cocktails and Dreams (Gold Coast), SAR Club (Gold Coast), Neverland (Coolangatta), The Boiler Room (Yatla), The Squeeze (Brisbane) and Paradise Lost (Gold Coast) to name a few. Nonetheless, Things couldn’t be more different for the second half of this up and coming duo.
Blake’s relationship with music began later down the track. Original Production was the more appealing aspect of the industry for Blake who hasn’t looked back since starting down the road of self-taught music creation just two years ago. Drawing from a vast array of inspiration ranging from progressive house to heavy dubstep, Blake’s style of production has matured to a signature sound that has led to opportunities to produce tracks for Gold Coast Titans player Kevin Gordon as well as a weekly radio gig at the Gold Coast’s 105.7 Radio Metro.
Conclusions are yet to be made about this experimental combination and much like the future of electronica, things will remain uncertain, erratic and unpredictable, but one things for certain, things are gonna get loud and you will dance, so start stretching

Greg Sletteland's love of music was inspired by his mom getting piano lessons for him in elementary school and orchestra class in middle school in San Francisco.  Listening to DJ mixes on Saturday night radio he bought as much records as he could from Tower Records and was in his first DJ battle in San Francisco judged by DJ QBert in 1990 vs DJ Dino and was voted #3 DJ of 1,000+ DJ’s at that time in South Korea by Juliana Dance Magazine.  Later, DJ Greg started a Mix show on Radio Korea Los Angeles featuring the top 7 songs of the week with co host Lee Ki Sang. 

Greg Sletteland then founded the worlds largest record pool at the time with 1,400 DJ members.  This Soundcloud page is like a record pool with free download radio and club Remixes focused on the DJ.

Like Armin Van Buuren, Greg Sletteland has a legal background and practiced law for 5 years.

In love with the music and inspired by the touch screen interface of musical instruments on iPad mini and by analyzing the midi files of great artists, he started creating countless songs on Steinberg Cubasis which is still his favorite way to create music.   Songs are also produced using Cubase & and latest reFx Nexus on the fastest MacBook available using EV 15" Speakers to ensure club playability!
