‘Woman with Her Throat Cut’ (1932) is a bronze sculpture by Alberto Giacometti. Giacometti was an artist of the Surrealist movement- with this work, he centres metamorphosis, symbolism, and dreams as key themes.  
In this piece, Max and Spring explore and respond to the aesthetic qualities of the sculpture, the disturbing nature of the subject matter, and Giacometti’s approach to the female figure.
