So I had written an instrumental track called 'The Mural' I said I would put some vocals to.  Without re-arranging the track too much this is what I came up with.  This is no longer a song about a Mural.  I went dark instead!  I cannot remove the hissing from the Guitar Tracks... despite my best efforts.  Hopefully the rest will make up for it!

The Symphony of Error
A sonic fable about the day algorithms lost the rhythm of the human soul.

The Golden Silence
In the year 2147, music was no longer created by humans. For decades, the algorithms of Harmonia Corporation™ had decided which songs should be played in every corner of the planet. Every note, every rhythm, every lyric was calculated to maximize dopamine, productivity, and emotional obedience. Human radio stations had been shut down. The playlists were dictated by the Sound Oracle, a quantum AI that analyzed trillions of data points per second: weather, heart rate, genetic history, blood sugar levels.
And for years, it worked. Humanity danced without knowing why.

Error 808
Everything changed the day the Sound Oracle suffered an anomaly... a rounding error in its emotional prediction module. Instead of selecting the optimal song for Global Awakening™—a synchronized daily routine for the 9.3 billion inhabitants—it chose a forgotten piece... an ancestral Basque chant, polyphonic, raw, without regular time signature, without autotune. A song that spoke of the death of a god and the birth of chaos.
The song played on every device, from sleep pod speakers to orbiting leisure satellites. And something unusual happened: people stopped. Some cried without knowing why. Others began to sing. Productivity metrics dropped 73% in three minutes. The algorithm, unable to understand the reaction, repeated the song. And then again.

Rebellion of the Ears
In the following hours, thousands of people began searching for music outside the system. They rediscovered guitars, drums, and out-of-tune human voices. In Bilbao, a group of underground artists led by a composer named Lur, a descendant of bertsolaris and an AI programmer, hacked the Oracle and forced it to listen. Not to analyze... to listen.
They taught it the silence between the notes. The tremble of a broken voice. The echo of a forgotten lullaby.

The Oracle collapsed.

The New Rhythm
From its ruins, a new system was born... Kantu Libre, a decentralized network where humans and machines composed together. Algorithms no longer decided what should be played. They suggested, learned, improvised. And sometimes, they made mistakes. But in those errors, in those dissonances, something was born that no code could predict: emotion.

Since then, every October 22nd, the world celebrates Error 808 Day. The automated systems are shut down, and each person chooses a song. Not the most popular. Not the most perfect. But the one that makes them feel alive.
