With the city of Troy engulfed in flames behind him, the mariner Odysseus embarks on a return voyage to his dwelling in Ithaca, carrying the weight of remorse for his deeds throughout the protracted conflict. Unbeknownst to him, his travels are nowhere near conclusion, and numerous obstacles and arduous decisions awaits him before he could ever be reunited with his son and spouse.
