1. I have tried to live alone
But I just cannot move along;
Days apart from You seemed
A thousand-year of discipline to me.

All I can do is to sigh
Every time I lose Your smile;
When Your face is hidden from me,
All my days have turned to nights.

2. I thought it would be just enough
To love You e’en without the church;
Days without the church-life seemed
An outer darkness taste today.

It seemed I left my family
Like a child who ran away;
Wand’ring days while worldly influence
Have carried me away.

Oh, church my home
I’ll no longer roam;
I would never, never leave you
Never, never live alone.

3. I no longer trust myself.
Even my burning intent
Lord, without Your mercy and Your grace
I wouldn’t have been preserved.

In the Body, though I’m weak
From all dangers I am kept.
All my wandering days have come to end,
What realm it is to live!

You’re one with me
I’m one with You;
We are mutual dwelling place
From now unto eternity.
