Butch, is a singer/songwriter based in Nashville, TN and is no stranger to the music scene. Having opened for and played with several local and national acts such as Edwin McCain, Shawn Mullins, David Mead, Erin McKeown, Augustana, Matthew Ryan, & Vanessa Carlton. He has been selected as an ASCAP Special Award Winner for his writing and performance accomplishments and honored by the Kentucky Arts Council. Butch's soulful acoustic pop has never hit quite so close to home. Butch Rice writes of what we can all identify with, Love and Loss. With every tune the heartstrings resound as if the guitar has been in the hands of too many, slightly bruised and worn, but stronger in character.
