Matthew "KingRut" Rutledge is an aspiring hip hop artists out of Big Rapids, MI. Originally from Jackson, Matt moved to Big Rapids to pursue a degree in Music Industry Management from Ferris State University. He began writing lyrics at the age of 10 and began recording around 19. Trying to stay away from the same old watered down hip hop that's been streaming lately, KingRut has taken a different approach; trying to bring political views, intelligence, and emotion back into the music. With his intelligent content and witty wordplay, KingRut is bound to be a force in the industry. He's currently working hard on his first mixtape entitled "Patiently Waiting" set to release sometime Spring 2012.

Hailing from Miami Florida, Red The Ruler is independently making his presence felt in the hip-hop community following the release of his debut album “Bank” in 2017. The 28-minute project bolsters fan-favorites like “Crazy” and “Left Hook”, on which Red’s star shines its brightest alongside the production of Nuez, one of South Florida’s premier beat makers. Red began writing raps as a child and cites his early influences as The Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z. Prior to the to his debut, Red released 3 mixtapes, 2 of which were under his previous moniker, spencaRashad. Sticking to his indy guns, Red The Ruler has plans to rise to superstardom through branding and constant innovation.
