Kirz was born Macdonald Chidozie Okeke in Imo state, Nigeria . He started  his music career  as a Songwriter/Back-up Artist.
  
He is inspired by  Lucky Dube, Bob Marley, 2face Idibia, Davido, Kranium Popcaan, Chronixx, Stanley Okorie, Harrysong,  and many more.
