Lil Fish is back on Gravitas Recordings and sharing an unreal new single with the world October 31st. After his last EP with Mr. Ours on Odyzey, a single with CloZee herself and Al’Tarba, and being featured on the latest Savej album we have been eagerly awaiting the next chapter of his music to release into the world. Lil Fish has returned with a piece closer to his origins, more downtempo and telling a story through a mystic and mysterious rhythm. This track has a positive energy that can brighten anyone’s day, and gives us chills every time we listen. Truly reeling us back to the sound that made us fall in love with this artist, this track will become a staple of his discography.

Final Frontier opens with distant vocal chants and beautiful synths, epicly building into a downtempo groove that will immediately put you in a deep trance. Slowly adding in more elements, the track breakdown slows and pulls back to feature the beautiful soundscape he has created. This track leaves us wanting more yet also gives a perfect closing, Lil Fish has done it again with this stand out single.

Re-embracing hope in present and past science fiction.

 A heavy dub of Nachtmusik. Admittedly the name 'New Nubia Space Station' is a bit too conceptually obvious and pretentious, but it kind of stuck. Working title was 'ambient step dub', next idea was 'Octavia Butler', name of the sci-fi novel author Octavia Butler, which in turn almost noone would understand who or what it refers to. (she is often named as the inventor of afrofuturism). 

The new name is inspired by two contemperary novels by Omar Epps & Clarence A. Haynes. 'Nubia - The Reckoning' and the follow up 'Nubia - The Awakening'. Definitely more down to earth than the 'Black Panther' franchise. Dystopic, yet entertaining and hopeful.

Welcome to the Alpine Garden 🌿🏔️

After a long pause, the journey returns in a new form... Lighter, clearer, carried by the crisp air of the mountains.

Earlier Gardens were wrapped in trip-hop haze, but Alpine Garden drifts into chill house and deep house. Gentle grooves, organic textures, and slow-burning melodies move like wind through alpine pines.

It is different, yet still a sanctuary, a place to breathe, reflect, and let the rhythm carry you above the clouds.
