Tobi Toun is a recording and performing rapper and poet. His debut into the art space was made in 2015 with a project titled Whispers; a compilation of conscious and soulful Christian rap music and spoken word. Followed with the release of a spoken word video in 2016 titled Salvation. He has since then been releasing new songs like ###, I believe, Legend and Twenty Eighteen (2018). And performing at various events. Tobi Toun has been in collaboration with many great artists in the Nigerian Christian music space like FIF the myth, Oluwanifise, Gaise Baba, Angeloh, Oluwatomi, Manolo, El Noel, BF, Ellie Scotte and many more. He has also been featured on platforms like URS freestyles, Spiricoco TV, Rapzilla, IRapChrist, TruthMusicNG. Tobi Toun is versatile and unapologetic in style and touching issues in his music and spoken word. Fans have compared his style to J Cole and Kendrick Lamar, yet he remains an only version of his art. He releases 1 minutes verses on his social media platforms from time to time and is currently working on some art projects. He believes people have still not entered the space where his content fully unfolds in perfect expression, but "with time and more resources to create, they'll wonder how possible it is for an artist to produce such creativity and goodness".
