My submission for Round 3 for the SHC's Mega Drive Music Competition: "I Can't Believe it's Not SNES!"

The object here was to recreate a music track from any SNES title using the Sega Genesis' sound capabilities, while also trying to mimic the original SNES version as closely as possible.

If any of you have been a follower of mine for a while, you know I'm a sucker for SiIvaGunner, and that I got into music production as a whole with the hopes of making "high quality video game rips" of my own. That didn't change whatsoever, and I've been extremely excited about King for Another Day. MissingNO is by far my favorite character in the tournament, and I thought I'd make a little track to celebrate their debut.

Getting a singular rip up on SiIva during the HyperCam takeover was a dream come true, lol. I'm not sure if fan arrangements for KFAD are allowed to be submitted, and even if they are, I have no idea if this is even good enough to be accepted. So instead I thought I'd just post it here.

In layman's terms, here's a little remake of Sonic.exe's "Hill Act 1" inspired by a really cool event hosted by the SiIvaGunner team. If you're unfamiliar, it'll probably be really confusing but-
