This is the first version of the Sicilienne from the Suite Opus 5 of Maurice Durufle, 1902-1986. The recapitulative transition just before the final da capo which I restored from the manuscript in the Bibliotheque Nationale and is not in the printed versions. This is however the complete score that Durufle played from for his premier in 1932. Recorded at Wesleyan Memorial Chapel July 26, 2016. We only had time for one take and it was 95 outside- sorry about the tuning and the small mistakes.
