Nintendo’s forgotten NES-era motorcyclist, the Mach Rider, has gotten tired of obscurity- so much so that they “went turbo”, so to speak; but more in a “sightseeing” type of way, if you catch my *drift*. The Mach Rider has spent the last 35 years travelling through cyberspace, seeing different worlds accompanied by their trusty ride. However, on a journey through the world of mobile apps, Mach Rider gets into a crash, leaving their bike totaled. Although not all is lost, because the Waze app’s sentient wheeled mascot creature thing is happy to lend a hand! Now, the Mach Rider and Waze are doing fast food delivery services in between worlds in order to pay for a new ride. Better order up, or else all you’ll be eating is Mach Rider’s dust.

MR. BONES' DEFUNCT RIDE

The host of Defunctland, Kevin Perjurer, has taken up a strange topic- a fictitious amusement park ride existing only in a video game. As any healthy theme park enthusiast should, Kevin checks out the ride himself; a mysterious ride known for never ending owned by a gigantic skeleton named Mr. Bones. Somehow crossing the boundaries of fiction and reality, Kevin meets Mr. Bones face to face to discuss his spooky and evil ride, but before they can reach a conclusion, they find themselves in the world of TOML. It’s Sonic the Hedgehog! No, not *that* Sonic. This Sonic starred in hit Machinina series Sonic for Hire. No, not the Sonic canon to that show. The one who played that Sonic’s role. Confusing, I know. In an alternate universe where Sonic is a full time actor, after his main gig Sonic for Hire goes down, he’s put out of a job. Ironically, this Sonic is quite literally for hire. With the same quick wits and humor as your ordinary Sonic, this Sonic is mostly just glad to be in a job again.

So- we're finally here.

When I made this tournament, I never expected us to get anywhere close to where we are now, I considered cancelling in the early times- things were rough as fuck, dude- but now it's just. Unbelievable. Really. I'm so glad we could make this happen. I'm super thankful for all of y'all for sticking around- especially our musicians who worked hard af for this project (especially Cheese for this killer bracket theme, i'm so happy with how it turned out), and dude- honestly, it's just- unbelievable, again.
