Harper Audio proudly traces its roots back to 1952, when Dylan Thomas first recorded for our Caedmon label. For more than five decades, HarperAudio/Caedmon has been synonymous not only with distinguished poets reading their works, but also with equally distinguished authors and readers performing classic and contemporary texts.

With a unique blend of R&B and southern hip-hop, Prince Gamar is ready to step into the rap game. Born in Tunica, Mississippi, he fell in love with the art of music at the age of 12. 

“I fell in love with music when I was young. I didn’t have a brother or sister on my moms side, and I stayed in trouble a lot. I couldn’t go outside or have company some days. I was stuck in my room with a radio.” 

After spending a lot of alone time with his radio, it helped him push through times of punishment. He then began to express himself by remixing songs.  Influenced by the likes of Tupac, R. Kelly and Lil Wayne, his style is comparable to none. Prince Gamar much-anticipated mixtape, “The Fab 5” is due for release in April 2018 and is currently working on his debut album, “9 to 5 Slight Work” 

His energetic personality brings a mesmerizing stage presence which fit well with his innovative and refreshing sound.
