This song is about the difficulty of finding inner peace. Rarely we will experience inner peace, usually as just a fleeting glimpse, such as when we are little and gaze up at the stars on a warm summer night. Inner peace can be achieved by focusing more on the gratitudes of the present rather than dwelling on the illusions of the past and future. After all, dwelling on the past is depression and overcomplicating the future is anxiety. The last 10 seconds of the song illustrates a child trying to catch a butterfly. Can you see it too?

This was the first song I ever wrote, so in this way a step back, don't expect too much off it. I added more guitars and a bass, but it is nevertheless a very simple song, only a 3-chord song, as you can hear. I wrote it about 2 years ago in summer of 2022.
