This really takes you on a ride from start to finish. Loving the choice of synths blended with cool guitar melodies. Those transitions are also smooth

Hi and welcome to the 4th track by "Then She Reaches For The Gun". Huge thanks to all the artists involved. Once again its great to have new artists involved ! Its humbling that so many people want to be part of this madness : ) 

The project’s inspiration is two fold: Firstly its a homage to some of the stuff i grew up listening to like Mr. Bungle and other noisy bastards where anything goes, and often in quick fire succession and secondly it” a chance to work with an never ending stream of talented musicians that i have known for years either in real life Australia or via the Internet. Each track will no doubt change depending on who has sent me what.

 Its a phrase i saw in the comment section on one of Ilaria Boffa’s wonderful Sonopoetry, and from that Ilaria expanded and wrote the poem that opens and closes this work.

The Hate Catz Big Ball Blues  Ft,eddyoffline, Cyco Miko Burke & Fly Nightmares

Awn is a central character in Ann Leckie's book "Ancillary Justice".  Essentially a decent human being, striving to do her best for people but, ultimately, she's a victim of injustice. 
I was noodling with my Gibson 335 whilst working on guitar tones and came up with the main tune. I've been looking for a track to go with it for long enough!

Yellow River

I've been on Soundcloud for six years now and it's been great exploring the work of other artists.  There is so much generosity of spirit on this platform, it's just what you need when most of your music is made solo. 

I started out playing classical and Spanish guitar, then took up flamenco to ease myself away from the confines of musical notation. As a result, Latin rhythms often creep into my music. 

A friend introduced me to steel string and electric guitars just a few years ago and I still find the scope they bring dizzying... but what fun!
