I was going for a mellow atmosphere at first, then transitions to a more intense aura. I was thinking how video game composers will have simple music for a background then the music intensifies as the character encounters a threat. They do this without changing the composition that much, but instead amplifying some elements of the piece.

Same sound as before, Cheap Electric Piano, now across seven tracks instead of five. Most changes are in the first half, which felt empty and bland prior.

Dr. Starlight: Nebula Edition

I used Waveshaper's Picture in Motion. I had quite a hard time making this out of one single sound clip. I tried 3 others before that and dedicated many hours to making them work, but was not able to. My biggest issue was not being able to keep track of the beats. Since I had to do it manually, it took more time.

I used the Cymatics San Holo Drum Loop. Then I used resonators to add a bit of pitch. But I maintained a focus on rhythm.

it's pretty sloppy but it's fine for what it is (i couldn't get the music to fit into beats after slowing it down. last time i slowed the song down using audacity before running it through ableton -- this time i only used audacity to loop the entire song, which is again very sloppy)

Drums, guitar riffs, pianos, buildups, and a sick bass line make this track EXPLOSIVE.

Decided to download Komplete Start, and have been messing about with some of the sounds it comes with. Unfortunately, most of those experiments went basically nowhere, and I had to find a new idea to work with. Found a good piano in Komplete Kontrol and went from there.

The intro up to the tempo shift is pretty much final barring some sound adjustments. Everything after that is rough and incomplete. Don't know where it will end, but it will go somewhere.

I like this I think i need to read more about chords and fix them up a bit and make the focus change from the five bare repeat to the Chords more dramatic. The chords originally had really harsh attack but that was mitigated with an auto filter. I fill like the voices and ocean sounds added for the third and forth sections was kinda a cop out but I like it anyway.

I began with an audio track from Cynamics and tweaked it according to where the clip was. In the beginning, I added a Nebulo sound effect and recorded over the clip to get that build up. After each transition to the next, more intense parts of the piece, I transposed everything by half a step (Manually transposed the MIDI). I added my own hihats to the first drum loop since it did not have any hihats and it would have been an awkward transition to the next drum loop. I added some transition effects and composed a light melody using muted noise and a more prevalent melody using lite model-C piano. I modified the audio by stretching it and transposing it back to how it began. I also panned the main melody to the left and the alternate melody to the right. I kept the drums and beats in the middle. There are eight tracks in all.
