In the space where time softens, meaning floats like scattered dust caught in the first light of dawn. Silence doesn't fall; it speaks, unfolding visions just beyond the horizon. Words dissolve into formless shapes, grammar fades into mist, and language becomes a fleeting shadow of thought. Here, sound and absence intertwine like waves without borders, carrying the weight of moments long lost, but never truly gone.

The Silence That Speaks

Back in 2006-2007, I made up a fake Jazz fusion / smooth Jazz trio 🎼 & programmed some short tunes from "them". They were The Artemis Trio, named after my favorite Greek Goddess ... and come on, who doesn't have one of those? 🏛️ I did at least half a dozen keys / bass / drums things on my Yamaha QY70, controlled by a small midi controller called a CBX-K1.

There are minor flubs in there, and some of it probably isn't Jazz, but it was fun. Fun enough to share on SoundCloud anyway. I've located 4 of them so far. They were numbered, with a short title to go along with each one, and each was a minute and a half or so long. I will probably upload all of them over time. 🎹🎸🥁

The photo is a heavily altered / processed one taken at night. I'm enjoying picking some of my own photos and finding one, or just a little piece of one, to fit each track, old or new. 📷

Light cascades through invisible arches, folding the seasons into a single breath. Moons swirl in silent patterns, and shadows stretch toward a horizon that refuses to end. Beneath the clouds, a silent pulse carries the memory of timeless skies, which hold time like water in their hands. In the stillness between one heartbeat and the next, the path is revealed: an infinite thread woven into the fabric of eternity.
