Portuguese maestro Temudo is back on Soma Records bringing his powerful and direct brand of techno on his latest release, the Artifacts EP. Temudo has been at the top of his game as of late with a plethora of releases and tracks across some of the scene’s best labels. This latest EP on Soma has him bringing his adept and striking techno production to the forefront once again.

Calmakira is the second track on the diverse 5-track EP, packed with the hard and driving attitude for which Temudo is known.

Beneath every observable behavior lies a complex system of signals traveling from one corner of the brain to another, often influenced by an imperceptible subconscious that materializes into perfectly observable and actionable actions: dancing at 140 BPM in a pulsating club, rolling eyes in frustration, perspiring under the hypnotic strobe lights... and this amalgamation of responses is what we know as “Overt Behavior”.

In this remarkable debut EP, the producer and psychology enthusiast, Cosmic Anomaly, grants us a captivating glimpse into the inner workings of his mind. The EP is an incredibly original creation, produced entirely with modular synthesizers, showcasing an exquisite mastery of technique that serves as an ideal launching pad for his discography.

Within the tracks, you'll find shattered rhythms, fierce percussions, and synthesizers that seem to penetrate the very essence of being, making their way to the core of the listener's consciousness. User Experience welcomes young German and living meme, Nils Viktor Voss, or Corroid as the world will know him from now on. Corroid sent me a track a while back for mastering.. an absolute face melter. I asked him via the medium of dance if he had any more tracks. Now I cannot get rid of him, he sends stuff all the time, if it’s not music it’s memes. The only way I am able to deactivate the meme machine is to try and divert his attention elsewhere. So, find him on facebook, meme him until he is unable to function.

Joining Corroid on this record are two fucking amazing artists who I admire a great deal; Myler and Jasmine Azarian who both execute their remixes with precise brutality.

This is an unusual record as the manufacturing won’t start until the kickstarter has reached 120 pre orders. If the world is truly evil and we don’t get enough pre orders the EP will come out as digital only.

As for the track names I considered translating for the ignorant English (myself included) then I heard Corroid’s flatmate say.. ‘YOU CANNOT TRANSLATE THEM, THIS IS TRUE ART’. Well thats bollocks but tbh I don’t have time for translations.
