Bristol-based producer Nu Aspect is an artist we’ve been championing for a while over here at Selected. Landing on our YouTube channel back in March 2017 with the huge deep house anthem Things I Said, we’ve been lucky enough to welcome back the über-talented producer time and time again for a growing catalogue of hits, including Light, Said To You, What’s In My Head, Run Deep, Afterlife, Sleepless and Something Real. 
Now, returning to Selected. for his third official release of of the year, the prolific British talent looks to continue his fine run of recent form as he unveils his latest musical masterpiece, Strings Attached.
Teaming up with British singer-songwriter and topliner Sam Welch (Gemini, Sex on Fire, 3 Nights, Through The Fire and Metaphor) and enigmatic producer Arkaden, the three artists converge to deliver a perfectly executed house cut that captivates from the off. Rasping vocals, playful basslines and shuffling rhythms form the backbone of the release, as Nu Aspect, Arkaden and Sam Welch pull out all the stops on a magical debut collaboration.

Numa is an electronic music producer and DJ from Basel, Switzerland. He discovered his passion for creating music at a young age, and soon after released his first tracks.

His debut single Always You (2020) went viral at a time when many people needed hope and courage more than ever. It was released on his own label, Numa 将来 (Shourai) Productions.

In 2021, he moved to Berlin to study sound engineering and further develop as an artist. During this time, he gained his first DJ experience within the Berlin club scene.

Now again based in Switzerland, Numa focuses on creating honest, emotional electronic music — often in collaboration with vocalists. His work is rooted in storytelling and aims to move people in a way that feels real and timeless.
