Yes, again a new song. We truly think this is a masterpiece, hope you like it too! It is an acoustic one .. and it sounds like this song is about someone that committed suicide because life is too hard. Which is possible and I saw some souls in my mind while writing the lyrics indeed... We all know of friends or family members that tragically have chosen the fast way out! But at the same time .. it actually refers to the ego, your old self dying and becoming the version you dream of. This song could inspire you to become your better self, your higher self. A PIECE FOR MID-SUMMER'S EVE! The main theme notes are from a pre-made template; however, I transposed and altered the patterns to fit a more lively song.  I altered the timing and created note doubling. I  tweaked and or created all the instrument tones, drums, pad, bass fill, and effects.

This was tough, I have such a rough time with vocals, i rerecorded some of them and remixed the track..

Getting up at 4a m before the birds are singing
Rise and shine to the smell of coffee percolating
Load up the truck put the gear in the boat we’ll spend the day out fishing 
What a way to spend a saturday, out on the river 
And the coffeeville road is dark and long but we know which way to go
we’ve been this way a million times to our favorite fishing hole…

I've always wanted to compose hard rock and progressive rock. 
　But it is impossible. Because I can't play the electric guitar. 
　At first it was an ambient song, but over the course of two weeks, I slowly changed it to a heavier sound, added some guitar tones, and finally completed this song. 
　Is it a genre peculiar to Japanese "techno pops"?

My friend Jeff Roberts did an incredible remix of this humble song and turned it into something really fantastic, more than I thought possible! He is also responsible for the  bass and drums, and additional guitar, keys and all the other cool things in the mix. He is a talented musician as well as a  great producer/engineer. Thank you Jeff!

"This is a song that originated with Steve of Steve's Planet. He came up with a really cool guitar instrumental and the vocals, which he is very passionately singing,  while travelling through the primordial forests of Central Europe and shared it with all of us. I added the bass and the electric piano. Tez (Llanpsych) added the really cool guitar parts that sound like orchestral violins. Ken (K2 and the Three, and K2 and the Four) added the perfectly complimentary rolling drums. Stephen (TexMex Shaman) added the awesome, trippy sitar and pulled the whole thing together as an expert producer and mixer. Tez also mastered it. Hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did making it."
